How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I used iPhone chat, the agent came on the chat and asked if I was trying to take advantage of the free line.

Me: yes, I've been trying to get on this deal for a while but every time I'm told I'm not qualify, hoping this will be different.

He told me what the deal was, gave me half off sim cost with free shipping.
I tried to cancel one of my line right away but he said I have to wait 90 days before canceling any line.

I will recommend trying again, and will also add that the line has not showed up on my account yet so, fingers crossed.
If you cancel any lines, you will lose the credit for the free line.

Talked to a rep,
I currently have the 2 lines for $100 plan (3rd line $40) - One Plus Promo, a $0 data feature that enables HD video streaming, 10 GB hotspot, and 256 kbps int'l data roaming.
this plan has a max of 3 lines

In order to be eligible for another line (free) i would have to switch to a Magenta plan which would make my video strreaming 480p, and give me 3GB of hotspot, and include simple global international data (128kbps)

... I am glad I asked about the specifics. Originally the sales person said I would not lose any services, they would all just be downgraded.
This is what I'm afraid of. I remember a couple of years ago the newer plans had less on the features (no HD video, throttled at less threshold, less Hotspot, international stuff, etc.)

Seems like there is alot of confusion/misinformation.

I'm on the T-Mobile One (+ One Plus promo and Insider hookup) and from what others are experiencing here, it seems like this plan is not eligible for this promo.

Would hate to attempt to add a line and lose all of this.
Yup, I don't trust T-Mobile reps too much, even if it's through chat to have proof. I'm afraid they will say it's all good and then end up changing something that takes away my plan or promos. Even with proof from chat I've heard sometimes hey can't get the previous plan back...but that might be really old stuff only.

I currently have T-mobile One 2/100 plan with a free 3rd line from This is on Us promo. all 3 lines have kickback and 2 lines never go over 2GB so they always get total a $20 discount, plus I have the 20% off employee referral code promo, along with the One Plus promo for free HD/Hotspot addon. I don't get netflix though. my bill is $64/month for 3 lines. when I asked if i could get another line, T-force on twitter responded with this:

-------------
Thank you for getting that link right back to me! I am taking a look at your account now, and I see that we would just need to update your plan to one of our current plans to qualify for the free line offer. Our standard Magenta plan is $120 for the first 2 lines and then you would continue to receive the 3rd line free and then we could add the 4th line, so you would get all 4 for $120 per month. How does that sound?
----------------------
Does that sound right? I'm actually surprised they would still allow me to keep my one free line along with adding a 2nd free line.
Would I lose all of my promos? it was a pain in the butt for me to get that 20% employee code, had to call an out of state store to find an employee that still had codes left to give.
You will also lose some of the features that ere included with your current plan. Maybe it won't be a big deal o you to lose these, but I would verify if possible. See the first reply above, the poster I replied to mentions some of the things you will lose.

That's what I was told via chat through the T-Mobile app as well. I started a chat through Twitter and it's slow, awaiting response.

I'm getting mixed messages.

Do you have to add a line to get the free line if you are an existing customer? Or do they just give you a free line?

I currently have T-Mobile One with 9 lines.

I switched from At&t to T-mobile about 4 years ago and I have had Verizon & Sprint during the last 4 years when they have had a promotion...............T-Mobile has been Hands Down the Best customer service of the lot for me.
Oh for sure their Customer Service is great. But I've had to use their "great" Customer Service repeatedly since 2015. From everything to billing F'ups, to trade ins that were never processed, to booster equipment returns which they claimed I never returned, to fraudulently signing up lines for protection agreements. The list goes on and on and on. They always come through and fix the issue. I have had to contact their "great" Customer Service over a dozen times since I switched to them in 2015

Before that I had been with Bell Atlantic Mobile since 2001. Then it became Verizon. In all of that time, I contacted Customer Service about an issue once. And it wasn't even Verizon's fault, it was a local tower which knocked out all carriers covered by that tower.

Don't get me wrong, T-Mobile has been an excellent value. However they really need to get their shit together

I have T-Mobile One with 7 lines. They are telling me the same thing that I have to add one more line in order to get one line for free. I plan to try with another rep.

thanks OP! I was able to add new line and get 50% off iPhone SE--$57 due today for tax.
Question for community...i don't actually need the phone, so thinking I'll flip. If I pay off the full value of the phone right away, will i continue to get the $200 back in the form of monthly bill discounts for 2 years?
Yes, i did this with One Plus 7t 5G MacLaren, it was free after trade in / port last December. I paid it off and sold it. I am still getting the credits for it.

Does NOT work on the $70 2-line 55+ plan.
