How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Bullshit. Get a new rep. I have SC NA Family 6GB (promo rate of $70/2-lines), free unlimited upgrade on all voice lines, third free existing voice, 2x5GB Tablet Match @ $10, 1xFree 6GB Tablet Match, 1x200MB Free tablet for life, all with 15% corporate discount. Had no issue adding another (3rd) free line this morning and stacking the 50% iPhone SE on top of it.
Yeah I knew it was BS I think they actually tell some reps to misinform to try to get them off old plans. I'm sure people outside SD would fall for it, but not us 😹

I am a T-mobile One plan customer with 3 paid lines and 1 free line from a previous promotion.
I was able to add a free line via Tmobile live chat within 10 mins. All I have to pay was $10.69 for a new SIM card. I hope this helps people with a similar plan/situation.
Did you take advantage of any device deals?

Did the new free line get the free unlimited upgrade automatically?

If i switch from Simple Choice to Magenta or Essentials, can i still keep my corporate discount?
Why would you switch? Your plan is most likely better. I do believe your discount will be gone.

I had 4 magenta lines and added a new free line after talking to customer care.
Thank You for the post.
Whoever facing the difficulty convincing the customer care representative, mention the promo code - 2020LINEONUS PROMO 3

While my rep was actually very nice and helpful, I made it clear off the get go that I did not want ANY changes to my plan since it's heavily grandfathered, promo'd, discounted, etc. Unlike on past calls where some reps have tried to say I could do better, this one took one look and said she wouldn't change that if she was me either. I had a prior Twitter chat (heavily delayed) going on in the background and, after everything was done, they also confirmed the order was good and nothing changed on my existing plan.

So you don't have to pay $20 activation fee?

I have 2 existing lines with One Plus Promo and was able to add the free third line by calling 611. The rep confirmed that my plan and its features would remain unchanged and even waived the activation fee.

Question about the phone trade-in: the rep said I'd have to port in a number to get the $500 off iPhone 11. Has anyone been able to get this discount without porting in (i.e., just using a new number assigned by T-mobile)?

Are you on SC NA too? I just have a corporate discount and a free line. I'm wondering if I should get this other free line too, but I haven't even used my current line. It would be around $8 extra a month in taxes and fees maintaining these free lines.

Got it on the first try. Service rep was great. He thought it was only if you add a line you get one free - guess they were surprised that there was just a free line like that. After short hold he added it and even waived the activation fee and got me free shipping for the SIM card as a make up for the misunderstanding. I did have to pay the $10 for the sim card.

I have T-Mobile One with 7 lines(1 free) already prior to adding the new one.

Good luck anyone calling in, it may just be a case of them truly not realizing it was one free straight up for existing customers.

Respectfully, this is false. I don't doubt that was what you were told, but I thoroughly checked all my documents (device agreement, etc.). I am still on One.
How did you do it?
