How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I am on Simple Choice Promo from many years ago. Made an appointment, was in and out of the physical store in less than 13 minutes with a free line, sim card, and receipt showing the new number. Spent $31 to take care of the issue. Don't be a cheap ass and just roll into the store. I'm too old to be nickel and diming for $30 bucks.

trying to find that too, want to go for iPhone 11 with trade-in and port-in if eligible on simple choice plan with this new free add a line
I was told the same thing on both fb messenger and t-mobile message.

"The Simple Choice is available to get the Free Line added. For the iPhone 11 you would need to be on Magenta, T-Mobile One, T-Mobile One Essentials and any Business Unlimited plan. The iPhone SE is the only iPhone Promo that is available to any rate plan, my friend. Did you want to get one?"

Simple choice is also eligible for 50% OnePlus 8 5G after bill credit.

Here's my Magenta 11 line plan details that thankfully show the "2020 Line On Us" discount (in addition to the "Insider Discount" and "19 Magenta Friday Free Line"). Folks have done much better on a per line basis with 4 free lines on their accounts but I can't complain with $19/line after switching from my 2.5GB Simple Choice account just last year during the Insider Hookup offer.

I'm on the same plan and also got free line already.
I was told the same thing first via chat so I called 611 and got the deal without any issues.
Now I am being told that I can qualify. This is a mess..
So they will move me from TMO One to TMO Magenta and maintain the Insider Hookup and Kickback discounts.. Will see, this could be a colossal waste of time..

Just added a new line to Simple Choice plan (2 line for $100 plan) in a T-mobile store. It took less than 5 minutes. The new line is up an running. And it already shows "2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)" in my account "Applied discounts and promotions".
How long did it take to show the promotion on your account

Finally got the free line on my military tmobile one plan. Texting 611 worked. Facebook and tmobile app all said I didn't qualify. I will be doing the free iphone 11 trade in once I get the IMEI number from ebay for an iphone 8
Isn't the free iPhone 11 trade in expired?

To those of you who added a free line AND are porting in a line as part of the iPhone 11 trade-in promo, did you get any documentation at all showing that you are getting either promo?

I only see an order with a breakdown that I'm trading in my 8+ for a $152 credit, but nothing in-writing for the device credits or the $20 free line credit. The phone rep did verbally assure me I will get both (even though I'm on Simple Choice North America), but I always prefer something in print. Thanks.
Nope. The rep I messaged with even said the receipts you get don't show any mention of promos -- it's all just stored in their system on the back end. She pointed to our chat session as the best proof, but obviously you don't have that via phone call which stinks. Once your trade-in processes you'll likely see something about the bill credit in your account. I've got one from a line added a year ago that says something like "Switch & Save Spring 2019" and shows the credit amount.

Today we would be activating and sending you a SIM card. Your current T-Mobile ONE rate plan can only support up to 8 line (even through your account can hold up to 15) so I would be modifying your rate plan to the next version that can hold 9+ lines but it would still be T-Mobile ONE and all the other lines would keep their promos. Yes, as long as you remain eligible, the monthly credits would be applied to offset the cost of this new line.

Excellent! I've got that temporary PIN sent so please just let me know what you see. ^EmilySchooley

There's a decent chance you get a credit for it; I've always found T-Mobile help pretty generous. I was going to be charged the $20 fee when I signed up via FB message but I asked if there's any way it could be waived as I'm cheap and my awesome agent did it without blinking.

Send a message to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook and mention you got the $20 support charge that you didn't expect, especially after having to endure a long wait to get your line added. Then nicely ask them "if there's any way they could remove or credit me that charge" and I'd wager there's a good chance you'd get the funds back. Try one (Twitter or FB) and if it fails, try the other. Nothing to lose.

Tmobile One Plan, with kickback, and 5 lines total (one of which is free from prior add one line free promo):

* Went through 611
* Got line added for free, no impact on kickback or insider hook up
* Ordered iPhone XS for 50% off in bill credits ($350 price for phone), could have gotten an SE for $200 instead but went with the XS. Had to pay upfront for tax
* Also got charged $20 activation fee, they said they could not waive it when I asked
* No SIM card fee since I'm ordering a new phone

Thanks OP!
