How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Anyone know when this expires?
Probably before the end of the month. I guarantee they are just trying to up subscriber count for Q2. Better earnings report to investors. Investors just like to see numbers.

Still try if you have the One Plus Promo. I had no issues doing it and the promo and line are both already tied to my account and showing as free. So it's really a YMMV.

Current customers:
If you have at least 2 paid voice lines, you are eligible to get a free voice line on a qualifying plan, including Simple Choice, ONE and Magenta. Exclusions will apply, including discounted plans (military, first responder, 55+ and T-Mobile ONE All-In Promo plans) not being eligible. Taxes and fees may apply depending on your existing plan. This may include a SIM or activation fee that may be waived later via chat.

I believe no data showing up for you is ok. The data on our plan is a free add-on and it being a grandfathered plan, they have to enter the correct code, maybe your rep didn't have that code. I learnt this last year when I added a paid line in store and they forgot to add data to it. I called 2 weeks later and asked for credit for the time I didn't use it and the rep said the data is actually free, do can't credit it Smilie

Once your line is activated, you can just call and tell them to add the 2gb data.

I'm more interested in the 50% discount you mentioned, what's that?

what is the baseline pricing for Tmoboline ONe plans?

I was at 250 for 10 lines. Does it go up on the 11th and 12th?

Your ONE plan's limit is 8 lines, so they'll have to switch it to the 9-12 version of ONE plan. Make sure they do that and not convert it to Magenta, otherwise you might lose your existing credits/promos/kickback.

Quote from Quadcore :
I was also told same thing as I have Tmobile one 8 lines, adding 9th will require to change plan to tmobile one 9+ plan but after the change no longer seeing $40 autopay and 2017 free line discount under "Applied discounts and promotions", are you having same issue?
The same issue happened to me last time I tried to add the 9th line to my a/c!
All old promos (especially free lines) vanished and they had to do some manual adjustment (took 3/4 calls and 2 months) to put the old promos back !!!

Has anyone sorted out this issue of switching to "bigger T-Mobile One" plan with the 9th line but still getting the old promos back/intact?

I have Tmobile ONE with 8 lines, 1 free line from 2017. Chatted with Tforce and was told that need to change my rate plan from Tmobile ONE upto 8 lines to Tmobile ONE 9+ lines to add this free line but after the change not seeing $40 autopay and $20 free line(2017) discount under "Applied discounts and promotions" only seeing insider hookup and new $30 2020 Line on Us discount only. They are saying System will take some time to show those two discounts. Anyone is having this issue or in same boat?
where do you find this info? thru tmobile app or web acc?

That's interesting. I have the EXACT same plan as you. With 5 paid lines. No free lines. Sadly. And 15% govt discount too. My new line shows nothing. No data. No 2GB no 6 GB. I was confused. But it works. I'm assuming because I'm on the 50% stay connected COVID discount?

Anyone with a Simple Choice plan showing the free line promo on their account details page yet (https://my.t-mobile.com/account/plan-details) ?

I see my new phone and the line, and I see it added to the plan, but I don't see the $20 discount applied yet, just the stuff from previous promos. The $8.34 iPhone SE 50% discount is showing up on the website already, but not the free line discount.

I guess I'll see what happens when i have no data on my line. Right now it works but i have nothing selected.

It was a deal that they offered in April for 50% off your plan for 3 months.

To clarify, I'm on TMO One Plan, with the add on One Plus Promo which is free. Two different CSR reps (text through 611) told me nothing changes with my plan after adding the free line. Kickback, insider hook up, One Plus Promo will not be affected.
How did you go through with the add with 611? Text or call?

Any other details that might help us get this line?

I have the same plan but the majority of the posts here are saying it's a no-go with the All-In One Plus plans.

The guy I was chatting on FB said it'd take 24hrs for the account to re-register the promos. Best best is FB/Twitter reps. The phone app reps are useless.

I just called 611 and finished adding the third line for free, plus a half price iphone SE. I was told that the third line has unlimited voice, text and data. I thought it was voice only for the free line?
