How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Got off the phone with the 844 -233-6088 rep and she was at first stated I wasn't eligible and then checked with someone and stated I was. The rep said the new line I added is eligible for the 2020 Line on Us Promo 3 and that the line is already tied to the promo (not showing though in my account on the web). I ask her to notate what she said on my account. I then tried to call 611, but it stated I had to call back later (probably closed now). I then informed t-force via twitter and this is his reply:

T-Force: I'm really sorry to hear you're getting back and forth answers on this. I'm one of the leaders here on social media helping on since we're seeing so many requests about this. I have spoken with our promotions team and confirmed that the 10SCFM4 plan is not eligible for the free line promotion.

The options today would be to migrate to an eligible plan to keep the free line offer or to remove the line to avoid any charges on future billing.

We do recommend that you work with just representative on your account at the time. This way we can eliminate confusion.

I will be standing to help should you need any more support. Thank you!

9:25 PM
Me: Thanks. Charlene who was my rep stated that the new line I added today is eligible for the 2020 Line on Us Promo 3 and it was already tied to the promo (no promotion showing on the account yet though). She stated that it will be 0 dollars and she texted me her name and rep # for future piece of mind. I also asked her to notate that in my account to make sure there is no surprises later.

9:28 PM
T-Force: I appreciate you letting me know.

I do have to advise you that the provided information is not accurate and the line will be charged. I would strongly recommend one of the options I have provided you with today.

I will also make sure to reach out to my teammates to ensure they are updated on the promotion information so that we can correct this for the future.

Thank you!

NOTE: The options he provided :
1. We could move you to our eligible plan 10SCFM4L - I'm checking now to see what the price difference would be and if there would be any impacts to established promotions on the account.

or

2. We could remove the new line that was added. There would be no charges on the account and it would not impact the billing going forward.
What plan do you have? Would your plan go back to normal just by removing the line? Did you have any other free lines?

The promo for existing member is if you have a least two lines, you can just add one free line. TMobile Magenta, One, Essentials, and Simple Choice qualify. Military and Senior rate plans don't qualify.
I literally just got off the phone with an offshore rep who first told me that I could not get the promo because I had more than two lines and there was a max of 2 lines for the promo. Then she told me it was only for new customers who were adding 3 lines. She would not budge. This was also the same rep that was telling me screen burn was covered under accidental damage and not mechanical breakdown.

Has anyone with the Simple Choice North America 10GB with Family Match plan received the text confirming the promotional line has been added and does it show up on your online account?
I haven't got any. Three different reps (2 on chat and 1 on 611) other than the one who processed my request said my promotion was good and nothing to worry. Still don't see anything on my account nor have I got a text. Waiting. I am supposed to get free line on a 4 for 100 simple choice plan with a one plus 8 for 50% off by bill credit. So technically speaking , my bill should go up by about 15 $ and I should get a new line with new phone.

4 paid lines
2 free lines

Got a free line and 50% off Xs
Are you sure on the XS? the FAQ says only Magenta plans qualify, not Simple Choice.

Do you know what plan yours is? I just checked mine is 10SCFM4. It's been about 9 ish hours and I still haven't gotten the confirmation. OP told me theirs took over 10 hours and T-Mobile reps said it could take a full 24 hours. It's just weird majority received it 1-3 hours. I'm starting to believe T-Force and maybe my plan isn't eligible and that's why it hasn't shown. I have a free line on the account too and was told that makes you ineligible. *confusion*

Thanks for the heads up OP! Was able to join TMO last night right before closing at Costco, get some $270 A71's and the 3rd line on us and activated shortly after i got home. Was able to get the Free Line today.

Still waiting on my Sprint 5 for $100 (130 after taxes) $300 BYOD rebates to come in, and have to pay for service thru 08/09. . .needed a phone or two anyways as we have two limping. I didn't do TMO bill credits as if Sprint ends up being better, for me, grandfathered wise after merger transition, I will stay with that plan. But I only need 4 lines now an $120 is cheaper than $130, with the possibility of another free line in the future, or wearable etc. Guess I will decide first week of August.

But if I had missed out on one of these 2 free lines, I wouldn't have bothered. So, thanks again!!!!

Awesome! For free line credit, Your credits should begin within your first bill cycle after activation, but in some cases, it may take up to 2 bill cycles to begin. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see a double credit on your second bill.

You will receive a text message within 24 hours of qualification confirming your enrollment into the promotion.

I think there is a confusion between the T-Mobile ONE plans when people are talking about them. Apparently there is a regular T-Mobile ONE plan and a T-Mobile ONE Plus plan, at least this is what the rep through messaging was telling me. She stated that my T-Mobile ONE Plus plan is a promotional plan that only allows a max of 3 lines.

I don't know if that's true (other have mentioned the same thing) or if this rep just wanted to move me to the newer plans. She even stated that I can keep my promo features like 10GB hotspot, HD video, and international data at the faster speeds if I moved to the newer plan. I didn't trust her on the features, plus it was going to cost me $16 extra per month for that 'FREE' line to be added at the end of it all, so I passed.

Still trying to chat with T-Force to see if I get a different answer. I don't really need the extra line but I'll take it if it's FREE.
100% true what the rep told you. The plan is called TMO One All In Promo w/ Free One Plus Promo. The plan they had to change me to is Tmobile One Regular w/ free Netflix (and still Free One Plus Promo, kick back, hookup, free line on us 2017 all intact). I did this earlier this AM and all discounts posted on my account instantly while on the phone w/ rep. $16 increase in my plan for a 4th line ... hahaha so much for free, but it's ok I have wanting to get out of this Tmobile All In Promo for a while since it's quite imcompatible w/ a lot of deals in the past. New Tmobile One Plan offers "free" Netflix to ease the pain plus in the future I will be able to take more advantage of good phone or plan promos now that I'm out of that "3 lines max" Tmobile One All In from 2017 plan.

Anywhere easy to find out if our plan is All in One? Doesn't sound familiar to me as I have 4 paying lines on OnePlus promo with hookup, kickback, insider, etc an tax included.

Don't wanna mess plan up for extra line don't really need but will take it if not too messy

Does this work for the $15 prepaid plan (i.e. 2 lines @ $15 each and 3rd voice-only line free)?

T-Force reached out to me with this

If you're a 'Do-it-Yourself'er, you can add the line on http://my.t-mobile.com, or in your T-Mobile App. Just open the app, go to "Shop", then select "add a line" and it'll walk you through the rest! If you prefer http://my.t-mobile.com, just login and click "Bill" at the top, then click "Add a person or device to my account" at the bottom. It may still list the "regular" AAL cost while checking out, but as long as you're eligible, it's 100% free. Doing it yourself will also save you $20!

So you only need to reach out to them to check if your current plan qualifies. If it does and you have the option to do everything online. That would be your best bet. Not to mention you don't get charged the $20 fee.
