How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Yea, I am going to wait a few days. Going to give them a call again tomorrow and check. I got screwed before on the 2 line promo where I was told I was eligible, added the 2 lines, but never got the discount for the second line. After months of not getting the promo, it ended with them removing that added line and refunding me the cost of the added line. It was such a headache and waste of time and why I am so concern about this promo (and why I am asking so many reps cause I keep getting different answers).
ok I will work on this too and let you know if anything happens on my end. I would appreciate if you can do the same Smilie

How do you know when they have added a new line on your account? I don't see any mention of it on my account but rep said it was added.

T-Force reached out to me with this

If you're a 'Do-it-Yourself'er, you can add the line on http://my.t-mobile.com, or in your T-Mobile App. Just open the app, go to "Shop", then select "add a line" and it'll walk you through the rest! If you prefer http://my.t-mobile.com, just login and click "Bill" at the top, then click "Add a person or device to my account" at the bottom. It may still list the "regular" AAL cost while checking out, but as long as you're eligible, it's 100% free. Doing it yourself will also save you $20!

So you only need to reach out to them to check if your current plan qualifies. If it does and you have the option to do everything online. That would be your best bet. Not to mention you don't get charged the $20 fee.
Thanks for this info. But how do we know if one of their people has to apply the promo code (or whatever) for the added line for it to be free? I would do this to prevent any hassle and prevent their people from accidentally screwing up my existing plan which I don't want to change

Yeah this is how I have 5 smartphone lines and only pay 135 monthly. Unlimited in US and overseas it's great to take advantage of their free lines and stacking promos. I came over under a family and friends promo stacked with free line.

I got same message too. Online checkout still shows $20 due monthly for the additional line so I'm waiting to hear back if my soc code qualifies before I submit the order.
That $20 is your "regular" AAL cost as they mentioned.

I'm pretty sure the promo will auto attach to your account as long as your plan qualifies and you added the line during the valid dates of the promo. There will be no mentions of the free line anywhere during your online/phone/chat order. Only way to tell is to wait for your bill or hope you can see the promo details, which some users have today, when the line generates on your account.

The wiki did state the free line offer could be done online too. I doubt my phone rep added anything special to my account to get the free line. None of the documents I signed or got show anything about it. Looks like something their billing system will auto detect.

Doesn't hurt to have it done through them for clarity. However they will charge you $20.

My recommendation to those who haven't done it yet would be to just do it all online once you find out about your plan qualifications.

I successfully added a line to my Simple Choice 6GB Family Match account but not my One All in Promo account. I chatted with a rep and told them I wanted to take advantage of the 50% iPhone XS promo and they said I could and it would stack with the free line, but now I'm hearing (and reading) that I don't actually qualify. I'm conflicted if I should contact them again- the phone hasn't shipped yet. If I do, I'm trying to figure out if I can switch to the half off iPhone SE promo.

So what you mean is first contact T-Force to check if your plan qualify.
After T-Force tell you your plan qualify, you can just "add a line" yourself and the new voice line will automatically tag as free? And how do you confirm it really is free? Like check the account page a day later to see if there is any indicate the new voice line listed as free?

I'm on the same plan and also got free line already.
I was told the same thing first via chat so I called 611 and got the deal without any issues.
Can you check if they changed your plan and if so, what are the terms? Many are saying it is not an option.

I first follow the instructions pinned on the Wiki on finding out my SOC, based on that looks like my family plan qualifies. Then I followed John_Wick's instruction and unfortunately, mine says I have to call the 1-800 number to add a line...

Anyone else have this? I wonder if I can ask to have the fee waived since I'm not even allowed to AAL myself.
