How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

The rep told me my SCNA 10gb plan doesn't qualify for device promotions, it only qualifies for the free line. Maybe my rep was misinformed, who knows. I would keep a close eye on your account to make sure they didn't change your plan like some people have said.
Well, or MY rep is misinformed (he's the one who suggested it after I was leaning towards the $200 SE). Anyway, I'd say there's a 50/50 chance I'll have some issue that will need to be addressed with some extra support calls once I get the phone. We'll see. If I have to choose the free line promo or the phone upgrade promo, I'll take the free line.

What a crazy freakn confusing promotion. Tmo and samsung promotions are the worst, good deals if it works but without clear guidelines , documentation and paperwork, it's a cluster F. Both of them always tend to mess up with lack of clarity with reps being a major factor for ymmv.

Any big companies are like that. The headache we have to go thru to get something for free.

my plan is simply choice plan. I chatted with rep. via tmobile app. She asked me to pay for sim card kit which is $10 plus tax. That is it. Easy, no headache whatsoever.

Yea, best case you get your upgrade, worst case you have to make some calls. I couldn't be bothered so I didn't bother with it. Best of luck!

Has anyone been able to add this without having to pay the $20 assistance fee and possibly the $10 SIM card fee by using one that they already have?

Although I'm late to the party, but maybe my experience with T-Mobile regarding this deal might help someone, especially existing T-Mobile users like me.

So I messaged T-Mobile rep and asked her what's the deal about. She told me there's no catch and it is actually a free line with data and all - as long as you have a qualified plan of course.

I have been on the original One Plus Promo plan of 2 lines, plus I already have 2 free lines on my account. She confirmed me that I am eligible to get the free line.

I wanted to stack this with the iPhone SE deal (50% Off - bill credits over 24 months). She confirmed me that is possible.

I went ahead and ordered the iPhone SE in 128GB variant (had to pay 49.99 as a downpayment). Now I'm getting half off on the price of $399. The reason for the down payment is because the half off deal is on the 64GB variant and not the higher storage variants. And of course, there is no down payment for the 64GB variant, just to be clear.

Total I paid was down payment and taxes. She waived the 2 day shipping for me. I did not have to pay for activation or for a sim card and that is probably because I got the device too instead of just a line. I really think if you are getting the line, get the device too as it makes the deal sweeter in my opinion, as just $8 a month for the SE is really not bad at all. Although you can stack up with any other phone on deal right now but of course the monthly price will vary.

To avoid paying the $20 assistance fee, order the sim yourself from the website. The rep is basically charging you $20 to order the sim for you. To avoid all fees altogether, using an old sim works, but only if it's not expired. The rep can activate the sim immediately and not charge anything.

We have two phone lines on the Simple Choice North America 10 GB Family Match Promo (SOC code 10SFM2LN).

Spoke with T-Force via in-app chat yesterday and they confirmed we were eligible for the promotion. Gave me the steps to add a line and purchase a SIM online for $10 (vs the additional $20 fee if they had to assist)

One concern - the SOC code list in the wiki does not include 10SFM2LN...

Hopefully T-Mobile honors their word/promotion. I did save the entire chat via screenshots just in case (and the rep said they noted our account with this promo info as well).

I have the same plan. You're qualified. Our plan can't stack with any device promotions thought, just the free line.
I contacted them via the app messaging, and this is what i was told "Of course Smilie You qualify to add a free line on your account but we would need to change your plan to the T Mobile One plan in order to qualify for that offer." ☹️

Yes, the $20 is avoidable if you message them in app and do it. Some people who called in also report they negotiated it away on the phone call.

I have not seen a report of being able to use an existing sim. Rather anyone who has tried and posted about it has failed.

I barely now got a text confirming my phone. Anyone know how the trade in value is marked and secured in my account? I don't see any mention of it on the agreement or my account . That concerns me.

Can I trade into the stores?

Well the question is, does it show up in your account, and if it does, did it change the plan. The problem is, when they do this, there is no paper trail for it and it immediately isn't showing in accounts. So in essence you don't know what they did, except for the fact that they told you something. And from reports from people here, there have been cases where it's not added, it plans were changed or they were charged. Do you mean to say, you got your free line, it shows in your account and no changes were made to your plan?

I've texted them. The rep said she cannot waive the $20 support fee. Many people said they got that fee waived. I am wondering how?
HUCA that's how.

Question is. How much is it worth to you.
