That being said. Amazon inflated the price a bit. Home depot and Sun Joe has this one for 200. The upgraded version is 250 and has a coil you can wrap the hose around. Either way about 80 off is a good deal.
Looking at some reviews the 2300psi is a max. So it most likely gets this off the gate and can't maintain the pressure. Reviews say it's between 1000psi and 1300 psi. And doing some research between 1000-1500psi is good for most house projects like car wash to washing the house. Although looking up the preferred psi for your project is a good practice.
Why did I get this? I want to wash my vinyl siding on the house and even at it's lower range it's what's preferred for vinyl siding. That and I can wash the car and my kids outdoor toys with this.
Get a foam cannon attachment cheap off amazon (do not buy the high priced ones as they are a joke and perform equally) and you'll have an amazing way to quickly wash your car. Be super careful not to spray directly on your radiator or anything that can be damaged easily. You never want to use a pressure washer on the delicate finds of the heat sink/radiator. Great way to quickly cause $1000 in repairs. Totally not talking from experience........
Lastly ignore anyone saying this doesn't have enough power to do XYZ. The gas powered ones are more expensive, loud, heavy, and require a lot more maintenance. Additionally they rarely can be used for much more than stripping material/paint from a surface. Sometimes you want something that can do the same thing but without damaging everything too.
Home use these are great. Business use, grab a gas one for obvious reasons.
Buy extra rubber washers if you can, last I checked they were sold out. They wore out after a year on my hose so if they're broken the hose doesn't hold pressure and you cannot use the presssure washer. You can find washers at other hardware stores but matching them may be a challenge.
Get an extension hose as well, especially for washing the car so you can walk around the car without moving the unit itself.
Overall I've enjoyed it for the price.

Yes sir
Yes, they are. But the convenience of flipping the switch and it just working, along with the fact that it is silent when not spraying has made me a convert.
I'm using the electric about 5x more often because it is light, Easy to get going, and quiet.
It is powerful enough for most general household tasks. It will clean deep set dirt from concrete, it will wash the gray off a cedar fence.
I even used it successfully in combination with deck stripper to remove opaque stain from my deck without having to manually scrape.
