Amazon Digital HD:I think casting was very good, but script could never live up to the book.

The only movie that I'm surprised Tom Hanks agreed to. Not that it's bad. Just ok.

Arguably, it tarnished his career for some of his fans. He also did "Angels & Demons".

I enjoyed both the movie and the book. Wondering what more is added in the extended version?

Honestly, the book's most cherished moments (for the most part) inserted, and missing pieces come together at last! If you're a fan of the book, the additional features are a masterpiece representation of the characters, setting and story. Extended version does a great job at of filling in these details, which are omitted from the standard version. I highly recommend the extended vs the standard.
