I am no shoe expert. But, I know it is an Italian brand and I brought a pair when I tried them at a running store. I jog on them and they are pretty comfy. I was told they are good for 500 miles or so.
Thank you SO MUCH for setting off my deal alert, I have not seen mythos blushield on sale at all since I bought my first pair back in September. No joke these shoes HEALED my plantar fasciitis. That crazy blushield technology[diadora.com] is I think what has been key. Because now the ortholite insoles have worn down but still no pain...So this seems to be the only tech[diadora.com] that has seemed to make the difference. I have tried many of the shoes at places like Fleet Feet and Road Runner Sports....Indoors and during summer months I wear Teva Mush sandals to ward off the pain but I had not found a closed toe shoe for outdoors which had the same effect until the Mythos Blushields. Though I signed up for their emails back then, every time they had a sale none of these were reduced in price.

Never tried these before. Do they run narrow like Nike or wide like New Balance?

I don't know for men. My foot is neither wide nor narrow according to the myriad scans/impressions I've had done and these shoes fit great. But then the model I have, the Mythos Blushield Fly Hip has the mesh sides so are not constrictive like a stability shoe would be... Sorry I can't be of more help. The store where I purchased mine originally, Fleet Feet, the owner said he had been giving young boys the women's shoes since they were identical so I assume that the men's shoes are naturally a bit wider. https://www.diadora.com/en/us/myt...74472.html
These are the second version of those, the first version were identical to women's in looks. Looks like for the newer versions they made male and female ones identical again: https://www.diadora.com/en/us/myt...US&start=1 https://www.diadora.com/en/us/myt...3567&cgid=
I would maybe call a store like Fleet Feet and ask them how they run width wise for men. In general the people that work there tend to know their shoes very well... Or if Holabird Sports website has a chat function, try that? They carry Diadora as well.
I would agree about buying 2 pairs of shoes to get the deal. I bought the Mythos Blushield Fly Hip 2, with coupon that were $52.70 instead of $125 and the Mythos Blushield Hip 4 that were $59.50 instead of $140 so the total was $112 for 2 pairs of shoes (1 of which is normally $140 and rarely go on sale). I just hope they ship.....

the first pair that you got in September are they the hip 2 or 4?

They were the first in the series, the box says Mythos Blushield Fly Hip W[fleetfeet.com] (the W is for women's). The Fly Hip 2 W never made it to Fleet Feet's website, they skipped ahead to the Fly Hip 3 W which look a lot like the first version.
I bought the Mythos Blushield Hip 4 because I could only add one of the Mythos Blushield Fly Hip 2 in my size to the cart as they indicated that was all that was available. These shoes are different and the Fly Hip 2 has the blushield all the way in the footbed, the Hip 4 does not. I have another family member with the same shoe size so if I don't like them I'll pass them along but I'm sure I will like them...I have tried many of the different Mythos Blushield shoes since then at Fleet Feet right before shelter in place as I had wanted to get another pair eventually and wanted to try on different models but back in September there were simply not many in stores to try on. And honestly they all felt great. The most supreme ride was the Mythos Blushield Elite Hip models.

Some more of my experience for PF folks:
I love the irridescence on them. I bought them because although the foot scans were steering me to other shoes that I have tried in the past like the Mizuno Wave Rider, Wave Sky, they caught my eye and I insisted on trying them after the other pairs that were presented to me. Women's shoes are often a sea of neon pink, tuorquoise, etc colors that don't appeal to me. I felt the bubble wrap feel below my feet immediately and they were easing my pain. I usually only shop for new shoes in the afternoon/evening when the pain is high and my feet are swollen to assure a better fit. My theory is that they prevent and/or break up the adhesions that can form in plantar fasciitis as you wear them, much like the Foot Rubz massage ball (I avoid spiky foot balls as they will cause more pain to tender inflamed tissue). It was not until after a month of wearing them and realizing they healed my feet that I found the Diadora website. I read more about the technology and realized that the Fly Hips were more for lighter weight people (less than 60kg or 132 lbs) and I weigh more than that. Despite that they were my daily outdoor shoe for all that time and even today I have no PF pain. The arches are neither high nor low. The Brooks always increased my pain because the arches were too high for me, same with Hokas. For those new to learning about types/categories of running shoes and their feet, some reading links: https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-...shoes.html https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_us/ShoeFinder https://www.mayoclinichealthsyste...-arch-type
The below websites list the type of shoe (neutral/motion control/stability) and usually the cushion level and drops. Diadora site is sparse on this info. https://www.holabirdsports.com/ <---carry Diadora https://www.roadrunnersports.com/rrs/ <---does not carry Diadora
Pre-pandemic I would have recommended going to your local special running shoe store where veteran people can recommend shoes for you based on the way your are walking around in their store. I don't put much stock in camera based 3D scans but they can be a guide. Road Runner used to make a video of you walking on their treadmills and then they had you sink into a machine that made a more accurate 3d scan of your foot to tell you about your arch, etc. and more likely to sell you custom molded insoles. I've tried most of the insoles nothing helped for long so I don't bother with them anymore. It would be amazing if Diadora spelled out more clearly all the differences among the Mythos Blushield shoes but alas that is not the case...
Received order shipment confirmation email today. I wasn't expecting them to ship from Italy! I figured they would come from a warehouse in the US somewhere...

Honestly super surprised at the speed of delivery all the way from Italy to the SF area, shoes came today. My UPS packages sit at my local distribution center for up to a week these days before they get to my doorstep from 1 mile away... leads me to believe there is an outbreak on top of their extra extra work.
