I got these last time they were this price a month or two ago. Put a couple in each of our house plants. Seems to be working. They are all growing fast and looking great, more so than usual.

asked and answered on the Amazon website my favorite answer being "Of course you can silly wabbit"

My year old rhodendrons and forester grass plants outside are not growing well, can i use these outside?
Answer:
I use them for indoor plants. I don't know why it wouldn't be okay, but you would probably need to use so many of them. My indoor plant is 15 years old.
I use the liquid miracle grow for plants outside. I add it to the water. Wish I could be more help.

Miracle Grow makes a specific plant food for Rhododendrons & it works great!!!

This product is for houseplants. We use Miracle Gro granules or liquid for outside plants.

I checked with the Scott's Miracle Gro website and it says their plant food spikes can be used outdoors around ornamental plants when used as directed.
By Nancy C. on April 26, 2015
Houseplant spikes are meant to be used indoors, but it would be possible to use in outdoor container plants.

you probably could. but regular miracle gro is much cheaper by weight. e.g. 5 lbs for $10 @ home depot. this stuff is almost $16/lb and a lot of it will just wash out when it rains...

First of all original price isnt $12, on almost every site its for less than $3. Dont let amazon fool you. Second, do not use full stick in the plant it will burn them. ( obviously depending on your plant size). Be careful with overfeeding

These absolutely work and they work great. Bought this the last time it was on sale and my plants have come out noticeably greener and faster growing.

IDK what the guy above me is saying about not putting too much of this in your pots. I put 2 or 3 full sticks in my medium plant pots with great results.
