is there other tricks to do this besides having to find a small business store that will accept amex cards?
any online tricks that will trigger the $5 credit? So many local indian and pakistani grocery chains are not in the list this year and i didn't receive the credit.

Any gift cards work. If you want Amazon gift cards, you'll have to do a work around
i tried once, and did not get a credit, even though the gas station was clearly a small business.
next time i'm going inside the store to pay.
