I bought this laptop for around 1 month ago. Had done a bunch of testing with it, here's my input:

Pros:
- Lightweight. Plastic chassis but the coating feels great to touch.
- The keyboard feels nice when typing.
- The hinge quality feels durable.
- It has 16GBs of RAM. I cannot stress this enough. My previous laptop only has 8GB of RAM and opening 10 tabs of Chrome has already consumed 60% of memory. Iirc the CPU also takes up a bit of the memory too. 8GBs is just not enough in 2020. So putting 16GBs here at a $600 price point is really welcomed.
- The CPU works fine. I got 443 pts single-core, 2144 pts multi-core in Cinebench r20 without tweaking any settings. Opening Chrome tabs or handling tasks feel smooth and fast.
- They include a pretty fast NVME SSD here. I forgot to check the model, but I got 2239 MB/s Read and 1014.02 MB/s running CrystalDiskMark.
- They also include a pen, which is around $30 value here. The pen works great, zero issues.
- The laptop doesn't get too hot under heavy load. It did feel warm and I could hear the fan when I did my benchmarked, but it didn't get too loud and uncomfortable.

Cons:
- My biggest gripe is the USB-C port. It only supports charging and data transferring. I have tested it directly via USB-C or through the HDMI port via the USB-C hub but couldn't get it to output display on my external monitor. Given that I am currently using 2 external monitors, this is a deal-breaker for me.
- There's a weird audio pop/distortion when watching Youtube videos. This makes the viewing experience uncomfortable. I have tried to fix it by installing the new AMD drivers but the issue still pops up every now and then.
- It couldn't run 4k 60fps videos. There were lots of stuttering and frames dropping.
- It's just me, but I think 14 inches is a bit too small.

Some observations:
- It includes the 65W USB-C charger, which was a big surprise for me when I first received it. The charger is still pretty big though, but I really welcome the fact that the manufacturer are switching from the barrel charger to the USB-C one. Hopefully, in the future I can see some type of charger that is smaller like the 65W Ravpower one.
- The display is not good but is usable. I often set it at around 80% brightness indoor.
- There are some weird issues here and there, but I think it's mainly because of the software inside and be patched soon by AMD in the future.

Overall, I still think this is still a great deal. In my case, I have since returned it to Amazon due to the cons I mentioned above. However, I'd still recommend you to get this if those cons don't bother you. You have a lightweight 2-in-1 laptop with a powerful CPU and 16GBs of RAM for just $600 here.
No...the nomenclature is meant to suggest that for competition. In reality, these are far more efficient, and will absolutely play games in better quality than an i5 that's not accompanied by dedicated graphics. The 4500U may be mid-range for the series, but in real world performance, these chips are very good.

EDIT: Also, before someone tries to twist what I said, I'm not suggesting these are beastly gaming chips. I'm just saying relative to an i5, the 4500U is superior.
appreciate the smile link!

Do Radeon graphics mean this has integrated graphics? If so, are they the really powerful kind? I read that AMD integrated graphics (I think they're called vega) are much more capable than Intel integrated graphics. Is this the case here? Thanks.

Correct in thinking that way. If the ram is dual channel this should be sufficient for light gaming.

I recommend comparing this to the Costco HP Laptop, same specs but 8gb upgradeable ram, better battery life, more storage, and better build quality. 16gb dual channel ram comes for $64 from crucial on Amazon.

This is faster than intel latest i7-10710u and it shits all over intel iGPU, also more power efficient.

I recommend you avoid HP laptops. They have awful keyboards and have been very unreliable at my work. My HP work laptop completely died just a few months after we bought it. When I say died, I mean completely. Couldn't even POST.

I bought the Costco version of this laptop for my wife and she loves it. I've used it a free times and it's faster than my Lenovo P52 for browsing and office apps.
