Home depot reduced the price on the M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit with one 1.5 Ah Battery, Accessories, Charger to $119.

I am not sure how long the price will stay, but probably with the other 4th of July deals.

I purchased the DeWalt multitool kit when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago for $99. The Milwaukee is rated a little higher, so might pay the extra $20, since I am not tied to a single battery architecture.

I believe this is a very good deal for a very handy tool, especially if you have other Milwaukee M18 tools. I searched for Milwaukee, but did not see it posted.
Good Deal?

There have been a lot of good deals on this M18 multi-tool recently, I'm really hoping they're coming out with a FUEL version very soon!

I could use this but the last thing I need is another charger and 1.5ah battery.

It's a good price but the reviews on this aren't great. I too might hold out for a fuel version.

Same here, I really like to buy this as I'm in M18 world but when I check it out in person, it doesn't feel like quality. I have a Bosch corded I use for the house, with the low amps, I'll stick with a long extension cable.

Been on the fence. I am in the Milwaukee Eco system, but their brushless design is out dated. Dewalt has the brushless design and no tool/easy change out for the head. Hoping for the fuel or gen 2 of this.

I did bust out my corded version the other weekend and took it upstairs. Then I realized I forgot the extension cord. I would have been done with the job by the time I walked downstairs for the cord.

Still tempted to buy it until the gen 2 comes out. That could be never.

Same. I'd like this if it's tool only or tool+batt.

Yeah I've had it for 3 years and been waiting for a Fuel version for about 2 years. It's fine for trimming thin pieces of wood like flooring and sanding/scraping things but getting through nails or any type of metal takes a ridiculous amount of time. It's been a useful tool but not much more power than the m12 I've used. I own a 5 year olf corded oscillating tool and this is slightly better, so maybe it's not the power lacking but that oscillating tools are jack of all trades and master of none?

I decided to bite on this. I saw how handy these can be while using my bro in laws on a project. I've been trying to watch the price for a few months and the lowest I saw was $119 on Amazon a month or so ago so I figured I might as well get it at this price with a few accessories although I don't really need them. I didn't go for the starter kit deal, but I guess people have had success returning the batteries. I really only needed the tool itself.

I have way too many chargers and batteries as it is.

Would this be useful to remove a small powder room/bathroom tile floor? i need this to make some small cuts anyway and also want to replace the tile floor.
