Edit again:
Received another mail, seller is activating a new code for 15% off ALL connectors. CON15OFF

Edit:
50% off coupon went off. Bugged them, received a 30% off coupon CON30OFF.
New price is $10.47 before SS and other coupons. Good luck!

I was offered by email from seller. I have been using these for a while.
Made an order for 1pc and it worked for me.

can't answer on the cert/standard part though. I use these on RC and other casual hobby projects. Wish it would be available in my workplace though.

I'm assuming people with hobby experience might know the answer to this question... anyone know the best way to tap into my power rearview mirror for a radar detector? I want it to look clean and don't want to risk messing up my mirror as it has my garage door opener in it as well.

Why tap into the rear view mirror power? You would probably want to tap into your fuse box and wire from the top to one of the sides. As you mention taping into your rearview is or going to cause unknown problem that you probably don't want to mess with. Generally people wire into the fuse box.

Agree. I'd use add a fuse type of product with a 12-5V transformer. Feel safer this way.

Thanks, in for 1 even though I already have solder and heat shrink tubing. Maybe I can find a use for these at some point...
