^^ That link should bring you to your Paypal Business Debit homepage. You should see the offer there.

Anyone with a Paypal Business Debit card can get some pretty sweet cashback rewards that you must activate in your Paypal account. Either unlimited 1.25% CB or $20 CB for every $1,000 spent (2% CB). Whatever offer you choose will pause your normal unlimited 1% CB until September 30th.

I'm guessing this is the most generous CB reward given for a debit card currently. Nice!

I liked my old simple 2% PayPal debit card. I think that was a feature they got rid of when Elon Musk sold the company. I would have used PayPal a lot more if they had kept that debit card.

The cashback is calculated by the month. So you don't have to worry about having to spend $1,000 every week. I've had the debit card now for many years now. Your cashback balance may update every week though, that's different than your requirements to meet the $1,000 threshold. That's monthly.

Yes

Right, so every whole $1000 gives you $20 is calculated at the end of each month and not weekly?

Only ask cause it says:

Spend $1,000 on all purchases and get $20
There's no limit to how much cash back you can earn.
It automatically goes to your balance every week.

It's two different things. The $1,000 threshold that you need to spend to get $20 needs to be met monthly, but Paypal will add $20 to your balance weekly if you met the threshold. That way you don't have to wait an entire month to find out if Paypal is honoring your cashback. You'll see it tally in your account on a weekly basis.

Here's an update to my last post. I just paid my Ebay bill the other day that was $6,000+. The payment was pending until today. I just received an email from Paypal saying I earned cashback. I logged into my account and there under the Cashback balance $120 more of cashback appeared ($6,000 divided by 1,000 = 6. 6 multiplied by $20 = $120. All I needed to do is pay a bill and I got $120 for doing so.

Ahh right, slightly convuluted... So $20 added weekly per $1,000 spent but minimum amount / threshold you need to spend each month is $1000 to qualify for the first $20? Alright so payout is weekly, but as you've gotta spend $1000 and upwards $2000, $3000 etc to qualify for the next $20 and so on, just curious if they calculate it by the week or month, sounds likely weekly if they're paying out weekly? So e.g. Week 1 spend $1100, week 2, $1200, week 3 $1300, week 4 before week ends say you spend $400 I assume you qualify for 4*$20 cashback so $80 in total if they calculate monthly or do you only qualify for 3*$20 cashback so $60 in total if they calculate weekly?

Thanks that's a good example for a one off payment. We make heaps of smaller amount payments over the course of a week / month so trying to figure out how to maximise CB if it means timing our spend differently.

For those who plan to use the card to pay taxes, can confirm Pay1040 runs the PPBD as a credit, the other two will process it as a debit.

What other two? What about payusatax.com, does it process as debit card?

Has anyone been successfully use this PP business debit card to pay their mortgage? My mortgage allows one time payment via Speedpay, I believe Speedpay allows debit card payment, but can not confirm.

2% cashback is the minimum I expect in the world of credit cards. Why is this a deal?

Tried applying but got a message stating "For personal accounts, we offer the PayPal Cash Card

The PayPal Business Debit Mastercard® is for businesses. No worries—you're eligible for the PayPal Cash Card, our debit card for accounts like yours.". Any idea?

1. It's not a credit card. 2. People who already make payments with Paypal funds can get 1.25% using the card. 3. People who aren't making payments with Paypal may want 1.25%. 4. It's not a big deal, just a practical one.

But why would you pay with PayPal funds when you could pay with a credit card through PayPal? Using PayPal funds is like using cash - none of the benefits. I don't see the point is all
