You'd have to sit really close for curved to make sense of a 24".
Otherwise seems descent.

Site says the response time is "less than 2 ms", not 4 ms right?

Hi guys, just need an opinion I'm buying a monitor to use with my Xbox one X. So I don't need anything crazy, which would be a better deal? This acer or this Samsung? I already purchased the Samsung but I'll have no problem returning it I paid $130 for the Samsung so price is the same after coupons for me

Staples doesn't specify whether it is VESA compatible, but Acer's website confirms its 100x100.

Staples says Model #: XZ242Q SBMIIPHX. And the link says 1 ms.

Both have free sync, 4ms response time and seem to have VESA but the sizes are different 27 vs 24, brands Samsung vs Acer, non-gaming vs gaming as refresh rate is higher on the Acer 144 vs Samsung 60 hz so if you're using it mainly for gaming then you might want the higher refresh rate but if it's for like a dual monitor office setup I'd stick with the Samsung. Maybe others see other difference that might matter but that seems to be the main choice I would say between these 2 monitors.
