I came across this deal while looking at air purifiers to help my with her allergies. I was about to buy it from Amazon until I checked Bissell's website and found it for $100 cheaper. This is supposed to cover up to 1200 sq ft. There's no option for shipping other than standard. I also tried to stack a 10% off coupon that the company give for your first order but it didn't work.

Thanks for posting but I'm curious about the claim of 1,200 sq. feet. It seems that is possible but only with 1 air exchange per hour. The 400 in AIR400 I believe means designed for a 300-400 sq. ft based on Amazon's item details (3x air exchanges/hr at this size). Wondering what makes this better than say the Winix 5300 which can do 5 air exchanges/hr for a 360 sq. ft room. I guess the Winix could also do 1,200 sq. feet one or twice an hour?

I was curious about the square footage claim as well. Luckily mine will be delivered tomorrow and should be able to give an update either tomorrow night or before the end of the week.

So it finally arrived and so far it's pretty quiet but like Surely said it cleans 409 sq ft 3 times within an hour or possibly 1200 sq ft once in an hour. So far it been running for about an hour in our hallway and my wife is noticing a small difference, but I'll need to give it a full day to really see what it can do and if I'll return it or pick up another.

Hey everyone, sorry for the late follow up, we've since moved the air purifier to our bedroom and has been great. Even though it's stated it can cover up to 1200sqft. our open floor plan house is just too much for it. In our bedroom though it works well since it's much smaller and pretty within that 400sqft range. As for the main area of our house I'll continue to look for a better solution.

I haven't looked at deals yet, but Aeramax has a professional line that covers bigger spaces. It's huge, but I can be mounted to the wall. The filters are pricey, but can last 12-18 months. So if air quality and allergies are a real issue, this might be an option for you. We used it at our house bc we were given one to help with wildfire/smoky air and while it's not quiet, it is good white noise and provides clean air.
