I have this and can't comment on how it would perform on say.... Fighting games. Might be rough. But for Animal Crossing, this controller works wonders for my laziness. I use the turbo for picking up lots of weeds or shooting stars or "auto" crafting items. For how cheap it is, I can't complain.
Difference between this and a Pro Controller

Cheaply built
No support for rumble, motion controls, or amiibo
Not wireless

One review: The d pad is absolute garbage it's all mushed together and can't make accurate inputs.

That detachable D Pad looks like a pain... Anyone have experience with it?

I had this controller for about a year now and it works well.
For someone with big hands, it is much more comfortable.
For this price, I would totally recommend it.

I have this controller, got it when SF collection came out. Unless something has changed, the dpad feels terribly rubbery and unnatural, and underneath are just awfully tiny buttons. I cannot recommend not getting this enough. Which is sad because I like Hori stuff typically.

I imagine not. Wired switch controllers plug into the dock that comes with the regular switch. But I don't own this product so I may be wrong

Bought this and sent it back within an hour. Feels really cheaply built and really uncomfortable to use. Ended up buying 8bitdo sn30+ and couldn't be happier.

Completely agree here. I bought it strictly for the turbo button to use in Animal Crossing for monotonous tasks like picking up items/wood or crafting items. It is perfect for that use.

It does feel cheap in comparison to any other controller I have for the switch. It is noticeable even from switching from a PowerA enhanced wireless controller to this that it is cheaply built. But again, sub $20 for a turbo button? No complaints.

Yes, it can work with the lite, but you need a USB hub like this:

the pro controller being better is to be expected since they also cost $40+ more

OR just a usb A to usb c adapter, right?
