Just learned about this while talking to AT & T customer retention department and they said it officially starts tomorrow. You have to provide proof (check stub, teaching license, id badge, etc.)
Saved me quite a bit of money. You can do this in a local store or call and they can email you a link to upload proof.
We also were able to get 4 IPhone 11 for $58 per month after $10 monthly credit but that was not teacher related. Didn't have to turn in our old phones either.

Not normally unless you are current/veteran military. They scan a badge/paystub in stores and it has to match the account holder. Otherwise you could bring in any persons badge/paystub for a discount.
