I was lucky and bought mine from Amazon on release date back in December.
Couple of things to note:
It's not G-sync compatible. You'll have to force it to run G-sync via the Nvidia control panel.
For some reason, the built-in on screen crosshair is off by about 3 pixels to the right. It's super super annoying, but there is no way I was going to try and exchange it for that. I don't use it anymore.
The volume for the speakers is wonky. hard to tell when it's muted vs not muted and you have to use the remote.
HDR is kind of a joke, it's definitely not bright enough to qualify.
Overall, highly recommended for all types of gaming. It's had zero issues with gaming and ultra ultra widescreen resolutions.
Not sure why people don't think this Monoprice monitor is as good as the AOC. The specs are exactly the same. Maybe I'm missing something.

Literally the exact same display panel of the CRG9. LSM490YP02
Here's your chance to get a CRG9 but with a different bezel and stand.
Good suggestion! Did you take ur meds today?

This is despite the fact that Apple specs indicate that it should work. Supposedly this is a driver issue that Apple has yet to fix.
Because of this, I purchased the Dell 43" last week, which has been amazing from a productivity perspective. I don't use this for gaming, but have 6-7 windows open at any given time.

So why would the Samsung be G-Sync compatible but this would wouldn't if they are the same panel?

So if you want to save 300-400 dollars and don't care about a fancy stand, height adjustable stand, usb hub, and HDR, get this (when it comes back in stock)
