I was about to get the 85" X900H for the same price on AAFES and decided the brightness with HDR was worth it to get the 75" but that extra 10" would sure be nice for my purposes. Seem like a solid deal looking at pricing history at $2599.
AAFES is legit and reputable site for those who may ask. It is the Army/Airforce Exchange.

No tax is a huge bonus for me in Cali.

OLED 77" would have been great for me but is way more deniro.

What's wrong with way more Robert De Niro?

Did they stop selling the 85" Q80T? I was hoping to get one of those from this site but it appears to be gone.

AAFES is different with their inventory, it won't show when you search unless it's available to ship. Just keep checking back until they get more in stock.

-if you can find a direct link to the product you can find it that way, but it'll show out of stock.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually checked my Chrome history and I can't find the direct link even though I know I looked at the product page less than a week ago. Hopefully it will come back in stock ready to ship.

Just FYI. I ordered an 85" TV from them a month ago and still not delivered.

No updated information - only it's in transit. A bit frustrating. Especially if you wanted it fast.

I got the 75" Q80T from them, ordered on June 11th, delivered on July 1st. I got an email on June 25th stating that my order was ready to be scheduled for delivery but the earliest available date they had was July 1st. They use Innovel Logistics for shipping. They only deliver Mon-Fri, you can only pick a date available, and will call the evening prior to delivery with a 2 hour window that they will show up. Wasn't expecting such a long delivery time and the box showed it shipped from their distribution center in Newport News, VA. I'm in central FL so that seems like a very long time for an item that showed as In Stock. No updates to their tracking number from the day after I ordered it until I received notice it was ready to be scheduled for delivery.

Also if you do get a higher end TV it is worth checking out the AVS Forums to tips on starting picture settings. They have a dedicated thread for just about every popular TV model and it really helped getting a good picture for each display mode.

According to display specifications Samsung Q90T is not a true 10 bit panel. It's an 8 bit panel+FRC: https://www.displayspecifications...l/945d1ddb

I am just disseminating this information. Not trying to thread cap. But people have right to know what they are buying for premium money. Note: last year's Q90R had a 10 bit panel.

Thanks. Tough to deal with Best Buy etc get it there in a couple days. I suppose price and no tax is worth it...just annoying.

I purchased an OLED from them a couple weeks ago for my Mom, it reached her in 4 days. I think it has to do with how far away you are from the distribution center.
