In the end you should wash these each time you use them and as most materials they start to thin after xx washings. I think most of the ones I have received state discard after 20 washing cycles, even the spandex ones.
That's fine, just trying to not get attacked by Karen. She is apparently cool with something like this for now.

I got one of these masks off etsy, and this design works really well, b/c it has the nose wire to conform to you face and kep it in place, especialy if you wear glasses; it has the adjustable ear elastic for a tight fit, and most importantly, it's got a structured seam at the chin, which does a decent job of keeping the mask from rising up your face as you talk and move about.
After I got the first mask from etsy that I really liked, I went ahead and tried to get more. A lot of the sellers on there are shady, these masks clearly come straight from China and the tracking number sits for at least a month before arrival, plus the sellers seem to close up shop all the time as bad reviews come in about the shipping and communication. I found another seller, took a shot in the dark, and bought 10 of them. Same deal, seller disappeared and it took a month, but they did actually arrive. Even though they looked exactly the same on the website, the material is significantly thinner than the first one I got. This turned out to be good, b/c summer in TX, you want protection but you don't want a ton of bulk, but buyer beware - look at the style, but expect wildly different products to arrive each time!
