Wh-ch700n's are a great introductory headset with Bluetooth connectivity but poor noise cancelling technology. I bought mine used on eBay for 32 dollars.
This Sony headphones are on clearance for a while so the actually value is like 50-60 bucks. Plastic build, mediocre sound quality and poor ANC. They are not that comfortable as well. Overall not that great of a deal since these chromebooks are on sale pretty frequently. I would choose price drop over bundle deals anytime.
I added a $299 chromebook and a headphone directly from that link to my cart, but when I step through the whole checkout process, the headphones aren't coming off as free. Anyone else able to actually get them for free?
Nevermind, I had to click Apply on the Student Deal to get the discount.

Where did you see the 'Apply' button? I wasn't able to get the headphones to display as free.
Edit: I had to sign up for student deals, and then the apply button displayed in the cart.

post the link for the new legit headphones for $50-60. i suppose you cant fathom both a sale and free headphones? this is SD. check the list of laptops OP linked to. This is a repost and the best deals were highlighted in the earlier post.
Just bought the Lenovo flip screen 15.6 for $299 and picked up the headphones yesterday. Comfort level is ok, I can't imagine wearing them for more than a few hours at most, and I expected more for "$200" headphones. Noise canceling is non existent. I saw no difference having it on vs off.
The padding is king of thin in my opinion. Again I'm judging these as $200 headphones.
For free and part of the the Lenovo laptop I bought it's amazing.
