is there a place where i can easily find which processors and mobos this ram will work with?
might be easier if you just say what you have. if you have ryzen, according to the newegg site, it says "3rd gen and above compatible". for intel, if you have LGA 1151 1st revision (skylake & kaby lake), then it depends on your mobo. but if it's the second revision (coffee lake), it should be fine.

i am hoping to make a budget build using this ram. i would want to max it out at 64gb ram. i work with a lot of huge files in photoshop. all i have at this point is a case and PS. i don't game, and don't need a lot of fancy doodads. a simple mobo and lower end processor would suit me just fine, so long as everything is compatible.

then pretty much any new processor/motherboard should do.
