After trying chrome OS on my thinkpad laptop via usb , I am surprised by the fact that you really cannot create a network shared folder in chrome os which can be accessed by other computers or connected devices. At least it's not possible in a straight forward way. I was actually planning to use chromebook to share media files via network which can be accessed via kodi installed on my fire tv stick
Should get those Ryzen laptops at $299. It's a little bit more but it's a full laptop. However, my old workplace was all Google suite so Chrome was all we needed aside from Engineering work. So it has it's uses until it becomes $1000 then it's ridiiculous.
