If you are planning to buy more than one type of device, eufy app gives 20% off up to $200, and 25% for more than $200 and so on till 35%.

I'm using the eufy Pan & Tilt camera with my Blue Iris setup. It's not working the way I would like it to. You can enable RTSP in eufy's app., but when it's setup for 'Continuous Recording' the stream is ended after a few minutes, and RTSP has to be disabled then re-enabled to get it back. I contacted eufy, and their response was "Due to technical limitations, currently watching streaming through RTSP can only watch 3-5 minutes. We look forward to resolving this for you in no time."
In the meantime, I have RTSP in the camera setup for 'Events', so if the camera detects motion, the RTSP stream is enabled, and live video can be viewed in Blue Iris. If there is no motion, Blue Iris reports 'No Signal'. It works ok, but there is some lag.

Thanks for this info. So there's no way to simultaneously have HomeKit HSV as well as rtsp right? That's what I'm looking to do

Outdoor maybe, indoor definitely not the chinese camera unless you know how to set up your home firewall to block it from internet. Seems this camera doesn't use cloud, but I could be wrong as the mobile app usually has to use cloud to connect to the camera.

When you use blue iris, do you use blue iris motion detection or let the eufy motion detection to trigger event? The main selling point of this eufy is the AI person detection, bue iris and others all charge a fee for person detection. can you make blue iris to rely on eufy's person detection to trigger event? If you can do that, it'd be a great help to reduce the false alarm of winds/shade etc.

I'm currently doing motion detection in both the camera (set on the highest sensitivity, basically just to enable RTSP as often as possible) and in Blue Iris (to record any motion). I'm just trying to monitor my dog with it indoors, so I haven't played around with person detection.

It's still available in "eufy Security" app. Check the "Explore" tab in the app, it has an Ad banner "Up to 35% OFF"
