Supply chains are still very messed up
It's mostly shills and paid stuff, but I'm stuck at home in lockdown so shop it is. I've been here a loooong time.

This would have been a legit great deal for me if I had seen it a week ago.

Still see a lot of good deals on things like clothing where companies are desperate for revenue.

Thanks OP - ordered one. Seems to be a pretty good deal considering the cheapest DDR4 16GB kit is ~55 and 500gb SSDs hover around $55 when on sale.

Now to get rid of my 32gb kit or to add to it 🤔🤔

Thinking of buying this for my sons first PC build. Is it worth it to spend $70 more for more storage and a little faster ram?

Good deal but the SSD has no DRAM and low endurance, only 120 TBW.

Is it me or is slickdeals on a decline? I see maybe one slick deal every two months now. It seems most are "ok" deas at best now. Nothing amazing lately.

Or don't get this. Keep your ram. Buy an SSD. And save $35

You'll probably want to get something like this and a 1TB HDD for storing anything that won't benefit from the SSD or just offloading infrequently played games.

This is a fine kit to get him started though.

Just make sure you pair it with a motherboard that has an NVME slot so he has an upgrade path.

Very little real world noticable performance difference with faster ram. This is a pretty decent deal, imo.
