TLDR version - probably, depending on your graphics card & the TVs specs/config options.
Video card should be able to output to HDMI 2.0 & support "4K at 60Hz, with 24-bit color."
TV - Can signal processing be disabled (i.e. 'gamer mode' on some TVs)? Can 'overscan' be disabled (it discards ~5% of the signal)? Can TV support 4:4:4 chroma subsampling (if not, text could be fuzzy)?
The only thing I don't like is the gap between the backlight and the screen at the edges. When sitting center and about 3 ft away this means that about millimeter of the screen at the edges is not visible unless you move your head towards the edge.

Other than that, I haven't had any issues using it as a monitor. I do not regret my purchase.
Don't know how 'good' it will look but I'd hope LG would test it out some.

I did end up calling mine earlier and they have several in stock. But then I realized my Costco expired a bit ago
