It's not a bad deal, if you can't wait.

The ViewSonic (identical... 27", QHD, 144Hz, 1ms) from BHPhoto that comes back every couple weeks beats these by $45 per monitor. They always seem to be 299.99 when in stock.

Supposed re-stock is mid-late August, if anyone wants to wait. Save yourself another $90.
Amazon.com also has it on sale once or twice a month for $300.

I just bought my Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD recently for slightly less than $300. Very happy with my gaming monitor.

Monitor is absolutely worth it at this price. Bought mine on June 2 for $345 and I had been watching it for over a month at that time.

Yes, it may have been lower at different points in time, but if it sells out before you can purchase at that lower price, it's as if it was never available.

Not bad for a G-sync monitor. I picked up a Acer XF270HU from Microcenter less than a year ago with similar specs but with freesync (gsync compatible) for $279. This checks a lot of boxes for monitor that truly has gsync plus LG is a solid brand

Ok for photo editing? Looks like color accuracy is good, IPS panel, good viewing angles.

This one is also "G-Sync compatible", not full "G-Sync". The difference is that this monitor is capable of variable refresh rate in the range of 48-144 Hz whereas "full G-Sync" monitors can vary their refresh rates across the entire range (e.g. 1-144 Hz). This only matters when your game is running at low framerates.

According to reviews, this model has impressive pixel response times compared to other IPS panels and definitely better than VA panels. A nice benefit in gaming if you're sensitive to smearing/ghosting.

I almost bought this monitor a few times over the past month (at full price) but hesitate because I'm assuming the contrast will be worse than my current VA panel.

Anyone know if if picture looks better on one vs the other even though they both same specs?

I'm waiting for the Gigabyte G27Q https://www.gigabyte.com/Monitor/G27Q on NewEgg or B&H, is going to be at $330 new. I think the panel has great specs, like the 27GL83A, I just need a pro review from rtings or Hardware Unboxed to confirm that. What do you think guys?

It's a great panel, but it doesn't have a good stand like the LG, and you have to buy a decent VESA stand to compensate. For that, I'm waiting for the Gigabyte G27Q, with a great stand and $330 price. Also, the ViewSonic doesn't support the DCI-P3 color gamut, and the LG and Gigabyte does it. Again, it's a great panel the ViewSonic but I think there are better choices.

the viewsonic is a bit slower in terms of response times (this uses an LG panel, viewsonic uses a different one, I think it's AUO or Panda)

EDIT: Innolux, that's the panel. Same Panel in the Acer VG271UP.

Bought this a few weeks ago. Wish Amazon would just price adjust. Now to pack up and return this perfectly fine monitor to save money
