If you get rejected sometimes there are errors in their automation side or just simply discrepancies. I have always called the reconsideration lines for credit agencies and sometimes even gotten approved over the phone.
At the least it will tell you why you got denied and it will be a learning experience. In this specific case: Always call

I had something similar..applies online , the email said my approval needed further review..about week or so later , I got a letter in the mail, saying call them , I called them and spoke to a rep ..they literally did nothing but verify my phone number and approved me right then and there..about week or so later , I got my card in the mail ...BUT I am not seeing ANYTHING in my new card that says I have $200 cashback offer ...not sure if this happening to others too, or if I am just missing it.
Sure. At least in normal times, 750 was a better than needed score for a Freedom/Freedom unlimited, and 1 year of credit history seems to be Chase's magic number.
Yes. Chase credit card bonuses have nothing to do with having gotten a bonus from the consumer deposit banking side of their business.
I got the card today, no mentioned about $200 promo. However, when I checked my Chase app, it's there. Maybe you'll find it mentioned in the app too if you installed one.
The first time I opened the app, the promo was in the first page under the card. When I opened the app again, the promo was no longer there. But I can still find it under rewards page.

1. Can I refer someone to the Unlimited and get the $100 for my regular Freedom account?
2. Or would it be better to take the Unlimited deal and then do a referral?
Opened the Chase Freedom "Unlimited" a few weeks ago,
just passed the $500 spend this week,
we'll see how long for the bonus to post.
Seems they have been good about it.

So have her call recon and ask why.
Yeah, will do.
Does this most likely mean I was denied? If anyone else got this message, how long did it take to get a decision?
