Great deal on the new Dell XPS 15.6" model with $400 savings plus the benefits of Costco laptop purchases. The same config will run $2500+ direct from Dell, without the Costco benefits.

This model is the 4K screen with a 1 TB SSD and 32 GB RAM. The new XPS has received excellent reviews all-around, especially now that the original trackpad issues have been resolved.

I guess you missed the part where the deal is supposed to be slick
This would be slick for folks interested in this. The same config is $2500+ direct from Dell, without the Costco benefits. For someone in the market for a top of the line Windows PC to use for photo and/or video editing that has received outstanding reviews, this is a slick deal.

To the casual user who needs a laptop for Office and web-browsing, well this is not for you.

Good deal. Waiting on a new XPS with a different set of hardware specs, but this is a good choice if you want the 4k screen and 32gb RAM with the 1660ti.

I am waiting for the 1080p screen with the RTX 2060. I also heard later this year, Dell will include Intel wifi instead of Killer wifi.

Absolutely, but it's not meant to be a gaming laptop. There are several reviews on YouTube where they discuss the gaming capabilities.

Cool, I never bought computers from Costco. Do they accept returns like best buy without restocking fee?

I hope the laptop fans don't kick in for no reason. I have a XPS 9550 and the fans kick in for absolutely no reason.

Costco is about as good as it gets for returns. You have 90 days (vs 45 max with Best Buy) and certainly no fees. Plus if you go the listing, look at the top of the page where it summarizes the extended warranty coverage. Depending on the cards you have, you get 2, up to 4 years of warranty .

I have not seen that mentioned on any reviews. They will of course kick in and it will get warm under heavier loads, but not for light tasks.

I'm 75% sure that's never coming in the 15" form factor. The 17" that's already available has the 2060 max q.
