Is this a good deal? Seems like it, but can anyone who owns over comment?

Waste of money for packet coffee. Bad for the environment, expensive, HIGHLY flavored coffee (it's just packet coffee like the starbucks camping coffee). Just get flavored grounds and a drip machine -- buy espresso at a coffee shop that uses a 2k espresso machine.
While I understand what you're saying, I was looking more for a comparison between the nespresso models. I have a grinder and a lot of different being methods, including kcups, but wondering if this is worth adding to my counter for convenience as I have enjoyed the nespresso I've had in the past.

The original price is a joke. The discounted price is not bad though. The bundle was $100 a couple times in the last couple years. I got the espresso machine for $90 in April last year and got a generic frother for $20 since I missed the deal.

So another way to look at this sale is "As little as 0% off".

Any significant differences between these models and the "Nespresso® by Breville® VertuoPlus Deluxe"? I bought that model when it was $99 on the BB&B website a couple weeks ago.

We have both original line and vertuo line machines. I much prefer original line because of their taste. If you want drip coffee-like flavors, then vertuo is convenient. But if you like espresso type coffee, the original line will serve you better.

I dont have this model exactly but the coffee it makes is MUCH better than K cup stuff.
My wife actually just picked this up for her mom because she likes ours so much.
My favorite flavor is Odacio.

I wish this was little under $100 without the frother machine since I already have the classic Nespresso original machine with frother, and I love it, but sometimes you just wan quantity not dense super good espresso and I think these machines do that, huge cup from one pod, actual coffee size coffee, because I end up having to use 2 or 3 pods with Original to make a strong americano. It costs over $2 at least with these each pod is around $1 but makes a full cup of coffee.

One biggest downside, no 3rd party pods, while we can get peets (or others) with Nespresso original.

We bought the Breville Bambino Plus and got them to match the sale price for the other colors since my wife wanted the white one. YMMV.

A self-described coffee addict, I have a regular drip machine, a spendy espresso machine, and a pod machine. Each has a purpose. For pod machines I've tried Keurig, owned a classic Nespresso, and now a Lavazza Blue. The Lavazza Blue uses more coffee grounds for the same price, and simply tastes better to me. You can find their LB910 for less than $100, and it's a great little machine. Italy Best Coffee is Lavazza's US storefront, I believe, and I usually find pretty good deals on the pods there, sometimes through Amazon, and these deals are often posted here on SD.

I own this vertuo plus, a keurig and a lavazza blue 910.

The vertuo plus makes both coffee and espresso so its an all in one solution but it depends how much you value coffee vs espresso.
The coffee from the vertuo plus will blow away any keurig.
The espresso from the blue 910 blows away the vertuo plus.
If you want capp and lattes then the vertuo will do a fine job.

I bought a bundle sale with this machine a couple months ago, I went from a Keurig (which I no longer have) to this VirtuoPlus, and difference is literally coffee versus espresso. This machine makes a much more satisfying drink, but is much more expensive per drink and there's nowhere near the flavor options as a Keurig or the regular Nespresso line model, I learned upon researching it after I used it a few times. Reason being, there are hardly any 3rd party companies making capsules for the VirtuoPlus line. While it does have the capability of making regular coffee, you can't buy Dunkin Donuts, Peet's, Starbucks (not like you were going to do Starbucks but you know what I mean) or etc. You *can* buy a generic capsule and "roll your own" coffee drinks, but I haven't done that, and if I'm going to go through all that effort, I might as well get a different machine. In the end I'm generally satisfied that I bought it, but if you mostly drink coffee and only want the occasional espresso I'd look elsewhere. Otherwise, if you're down with mostly (all?) espresso drinks all the time from this machine, and cost isn't too important to you (e.g. you're not using it every day or you otherwise make a reasonable number of drinks... Or you have the cash...) I'd say go for it.
