As for the line, you add it there for sure at pickup.
And I believe Costco don't charge activation or sim card fees.
I was told only account holder can open a line. Which is not true if you call T-Mobile.

That being said, I have found one rep at my closet Costco that I did 2 back to back Sprint deals, followed by 2 back to back TMO deals (all within a month, and all extreme deals we chatted about for a bit) and so now when I call and get him, he remembers me and gives me the low down. will try doing that tomorrow.
But I just got a $200 insider hookup upgrade code, so i actually might be leaning towards an A71 for better than free ABC, or a single N20 ultra for $700 off after trade (no new lines on either, cheap trade in iP8 needed, which I have). That dangling $200 rebate (financing required) seems to be tipping the scales for me. . .but I don't know for sure yet, I generally like to be without long term strings.
