This 2060 if you are streaming for sure; the built-in encoder adds lots of value if that applies to you.

AMD generally offers more value per $ depending on the games you play.

Both are good cards though many would recommend waiting for the 3080/3090 in September, the 3070 in October, or the 3060 in November... Then there's what AMD may release....but if you don't want to wait, I totally get it. Those cards will be hundreds $s more than this.

Bear in mind the 2060 KO is a trimmed 2080 die. It performs in games like a 2060 but performs like a 2080 in productivity tasks.

IMO if you have to have a card now, it's a good price. But supposedly NVIDIA's new stuff will be announced in early September, and start shipping Q4 this year. I'd wait because the new stuff should be ~25% faster and a 2060 will fall like a rock in value.

AMD's stuff should be announced in November or so, so waiting at this point is prudent.

This is the lowest from a good OEM without rebates. Def FP deal and probably will sell out pretty fast.

Very tempted, but with Ampere coming out so soon I'm holding off.

Honestly, with limited games using full potential of ampere cards and ray tracing im just going to hold on to gtx 1070 ti until it breaks... i believe this is a great deal for those jumping from gtx 1060 or below

Tick below the Radeon 5600 XT but a better encoder (nvenc) for streaming.

Lol! Wishful thinking 🤦 ♂️

Every time NVidia releases "new" line it's the same bull$hit pipe dream; "Wait and the prices on old stuff will drop like a rock....". Yeah sure.... I've got 1080ti at the beginning of last year off eBay for $230 and that's YEARS after it was released. Hell when the 2000 series was released the 1000 series went up in price.... Bottom line is that the prices on 3000 series haven't been even released. For all I know NVidia is NOT going to give them away for anything less then what the 2000s launched at. More likely add another $100 if the performance gains actually are there.

Has one of each: DP, HDMI and DVI. Would rather have DP only for guaranteed Gsync/Freesy compatibly.
