Imagine thinking RAM is what determines the strength of a GPU in the year of our lord 2020
I can tell you're one of those fake know it all's that really don't know anything with that statement. I have a 6gb EVGA vram card and know it's strengths and weaknesses.

Indeed. Not alot of games breaking the 6gb mark.
It's dumb to have your GPU future proof too right? Smh lol

This card isn't bad just looking for more cause I want an insane experience and some sense that my GPU will be relevant for the future.

You know some people want to game in 1440p ultra settings right?

It would be quite the jump from my 750ti, lol..

I was going to wait for a 3000 series but they are probably going to sell out in a minute and cost 3x as much. Releases will be staggered from most expensive to least. I believe a 3060 will come out next year. These crazy times we live, who knows if we'll be alive.

Speculation*
September = 3080 and 3080ti (probably 1k+ )
AND 3000 series would force you to drop more $$ for a new PSU that supports them

To be fair, you can't be "future proofing" if you're buying a mid-low tier card

Cash App currently has a 15% off (up to $7.50 off) Walmart bonus if you use the Cash App card, mix that with the tax free weekend, good deal.

Right, because every one has $1K budget for a video card. That's exactly how much the the 3K series RTX will cost, minimum.

Thanks OP. Got one!!!!

Will return the MSI GeForce 1660 Super X I got earlier this morning at BB.

Hope this is a big step up from 1660 Super?

How much better is this card than my Gigabyte 1660 super triple fan gpu? Pairing with a Intel core i5 3570k and 16 gb ddr3 ram. I bought that gpu last month so I am definitely out of the return period.

From what I can tell Walmart isn't an authorized EVGA reseller, will the warranty be honored on these cards?

Did the same. I was kind of interested in the super but it looks like the best deals on that have been around $350. I'm ok with staying under $300 for a video card.

This deal is tempting as my GTX 970 just died, but Walmart isn't an authorized EVGA retailer, so it's a pass for me.
