Nah. Try Sam's Scan and Go and you'll wonder why you're waiting in line at Costco.

According to the fine print, the $40 gift card and $40 off $250 online code are mailed 4-6 weeks after you activate the membership, but they also both expire on Dec 31. Keep that in mind if you plan to wait a while to activate, especially with all of the delays various delivery services have been experiencing lately, which are only likely to worsen as we get closer to Christmas.

edit: Groupon has confirmed in this thread that both the $40 off $250 online code and the $40 Shop Card expire at the end of January.

Also, the Groupon offer itself is available until August 31st.

Yes, you have about 11 months to do that.

Remember to sign up at BEGINNING of the month as membership always expires at end of month, 13 for 12.

I think I messed up. I bought the membership with the store card and then I set up autopay after checkout. Will I receive the incentives?
You were supposed to use the card to sign up; be sure to go in to your account and add an auto-renew payment method to receive the additional $40 incentives in 4-6 weeks.

Anyone know if buying a $300 Costco Shop Card online would qualify to save $40 off? I can't find any details about any exclusions.

I bought the groupon voucher. Went to redeem at Costco page but did not see the auto-redeem part where you have to enter your credit card number. Where is that auto-redeem part, anyone?

Yep, I got the same issue. There's a place where you enter your Groupon shop card with the pin you just purchase from Groupon. But There is no auto-renew option at the checkout page. Does that happen after you click "buy membership" on Costco site?

I emailed Groupon with the problem and waiting for a response. I ended up buying it then going to my account then setting up auto renew on Costco's website.

Did you use a Visa card for autopay? If so, you should be fine.

I'm a secondary card holder and my membership expired after April 2020. Would I be able to sign up using this deal as a new member?

Idk but what about Costco attracts people? I can't get options to choose from and also I find many items cheaper elsewhere. Does anyone feel the same?

Do you need to go into the store to redeem voucher or can you do it online?
There's no need to visit the store! After purchasing this deal, you'll need to visit the Costco website to complete redemption.

Pay using Paypal > Discover card to score another 5% and even more extra, if you go through CB sites.
