The $40 Costco Gift Card will be Mailed to you within 4-6 weeks.
You can enroll in auto-renewal at the same time you complete your online redemption if your state requires you pay sales tax. Tax will be listed under Order Summary on the membership checkout page.
If Tax is listed as $0.00 in your Order Summary, you will need to enroll in auto-renewal after redeeming your membership. You may do so under the Membership Details section on your Costco confirmation page or from your Costco Account Details page.
Question:
Sure you will! As long as you've signed up using a Visa card and the auto-renewal is activated on your account, the incentives will be mailed to you with no inconveniences. If you want to verify this you can get in touch with Costco at https://customerservice

It won't let me check the checkbox that says "I have read and acknowledge the Member Privileges & Conditions shown above."
No matter what I do. I click on every single link, I read the entire thing but nothing
Also, I'm being charged taxes on the membership

Will ask for my money back at livingsocial.
It won't let me do anything at all. I refreshed it.
Costco card has 0 balance.
I don't have a costco membership.
Nowhere does it say anything about the $40 coupon and other things.
This is stupid

This is just my opinion, but I think Costco makes a lot more sense for families and people with roomates than for single people. The exception is if you are making a big purchase on an item that will save you $100+ for example, I bought a Casper mattress from Costco when I was a member that saved me at least $300 from what it would have cost to buy from Casper direct.

Costco opened around the 90s, before SF became super expensive and upscale, so a lot of shoppers there are the "old guard" who are just ordinary middle class families or restaurant/mom-and-pop shop owners. Costco stores and Costco.com just have very a plain, unstylish look, so that attracts unpretentious people instead of snooty young hipsters who want a cooler aesthetic. Costco.com's cool, indie offerings such as its amazing beauty selection is actually surprising to me because it doesn't go with the bland look and vibe of the site and stores. Costco is actually under-appreciated in my area because it doesn't go with the overall pretentious, chic vibe of the city these days.
Actually, Costco seems very similar to Amazon and Target in not having rock-bottom prices and selling the convenience, name, familiarity, and good vibes. In recent years, I've been seeing that Amazon often has higher prices than other places, and people just buy because they have Prime, gift cards, habit, familiarity, or because there's free shipping over $25 and they can buy anything during that shopping trip.
