Gloves are part of PPE. The nitrile gloves that Sam's and Costco usually sell are nitrile exam gloves. If I can find them (which I can't right now), I buy them for an elderly relative that needs them for home care from home health aides and for a nephew that is in his third year of medical school that has been told he needs to supply his own gloves for his rotations. That's PPE.
I am no expert, so can't comment if these are the same as the ones doctors use.

I for sure know there are multiple kinds of gloves. So if these are good for docs then yes part of ppe else not.

Ok, I looked at the item again. It is explicitly mentioned. "Not for medical use". So again this is not part of PPE.

Costco stores have 400 count nitrile in medium and large for $20.
Quote from Zeo :
Lol, where? My local Costco hasn't seen disposable gloves since March. Pretty sure this was only posted because people are in the same boat as me, their local stores have nothing on the shelves.
Quote from magrev :
Head to your nearest Costco business center and you should find plenty enough. Nitrile is ~$25 for 600 and latex is ~$10 for 300. Call them if in stock before you go as they are typically sold out by noon. They stock them up almost every other day.
Quote from ECartman :
Keep an eye on them. At my Sams they go in stock every week or so. I even got curbside pickup.

Mines gotten some a few times at this price, but they sell out within like a day. I saw them put out a fresh pallet when I started my shopping trip and it was 1/3 gone 30 minutes later.

Because of hoarders.

Clorox has the same fate

Okay, I looked at your response again and it's clear that you didn't seem to follow the rest of the thread. People are talking quite a bit about the nitrile exam gloves that both Sam's and Costco usually sell in contrast to these. My original response was to the person who posted that those gloves weren't available because of hoarding. Those gloves are PPE and are not as readily available because those types of gloves are going to hospitals, first responders, etc. and are still in short supply.

What? You didn't grab some gloves when you grabbed a couple boxes of N95 masks and Clorox wipes? These days it is worth paying a few bucks more just to get something. Avoid the risk of going to 10 stores looking for something you need.

Still not valid. The comment I made was specific to what was being discussed here. I think you just extrapolated a little too much.

A direct response to someone else's comment is not extrapolating. I provided you a number of posts that make it clear what my post was in response to, and I've restated what my post was in response to. You are obviously more concerned about being right than about understanding what people are discussing. However, saying you are are right doesn't make you right--still not valid. Have a great day. My Costco places them in between aisles, end caps, where you don't expect, I found gloves near the freezer section and one time masks near the Tools end caps. There is also a limit of one pack, to prevent hoarders (Please save some for others). So keep an eye out everywhere. Good luck, stay safe.
