Disregard. I see that the Connect Sport is an exclusive model to Walmart.

Doesn't seem like it's the EX3. It's a Sport offering exclusive to Walmart. Half the price of the EX3. I've been thinking about Peloton and Nordictrack S22i but at this price and with ability to use the Peloton app with a separate tablet, I think I'm going to bite.
Anything you do, do not buy Nordic track brand. My treadmill although on warranty receives 0 support. There are tons of issues with their hardware and their support is completely opposite from what it was years ago. Now they give tou whole bunch of excuses only to avoid to repair or replace your broken hardware.

Peloton isn't about features, it's about community, experience, and brand -- you pay 5 times more for that not the bike. I've been on Peloton for 3 years now, I've had to replace the entire bike once under warranty and a few parts of it because of daily use. Peloton is the Apple of spinning bikes, doesn't have always the latest and greatest, but it does have a perceived status. I reviewed my replacement bike recently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpeonOUoaEQ just for fun, then the pandemic hit and Peloton has really been on a surge because of all this stay at home exercising. My personal opinion? Get the Peloton, you won't regret it. Disclaimer, I'm the kind of guy that also own an iPhone over an Samsung even though the specs on the Galaxy phone are usually better than the iPhones.
I've never tried any of these bikes, so I'm genuinely curious, how do you interact with the community? What makes the features so engaging? Can other bikes with their respective apps not do something similar? Thanks in advance!

I just ordered one. Never used a spin bike and SD always finds a way to sell me stuff. Hope this is a good investment. Hoping to pair it up with peloton

So I log into my Amazon Prime Video and search for Peloton? That's pretty cool.
I believe he/she meant to say amazon Fire stick/TV rather they than Prime Video

Really seems surprising that you find them to be very close. How about fact that the flywheel is in front for Echelon vs back for Peloton?
I think he meant how it feels, not constructed.

I normally use a standard bike for biking outside and have Cyclops fluid trainer and a cheapie exercise bike, not to mention an elliptical, but I decided to go ahead and order this so that I have a nice indoor bike always ready to go without having to bring my regular bike into the house to use on the Cyclops.

Also in terms of the SPD shoes. Never used them before but do they make a big difference? Seems it based on everyone talking about them.

For those with the bike which ones do you suggest getting? Probably one with SPD one side and cage other in black would be best id think. Maybe direct from Echelon?

Lastly what about matching shoes, any general recommends? Thanks again
I've done lots of indoor cycling in my life (soulcycle, flywheel, etc), and the greatest benefit of clip in shoes is how connected you are to the bike, and you can effectively pull up during each rotation with the opposite foot. This makes a big difference in how hard you can push. Toe cages just don't offer that level of connection.

In terms of clips, places like soulcycle offer "look" clips or SPD. I actually prefer look because it's a larger clip and feels more stable, but I switched my shoes to SPD because it's more universal and I was using 24 fitness bikes when doing wright training.

For a more authentic indoor bike experience, use clip in shoes + SPD clips. That said, probably best to use the toe cages to start and then determine what it's worth to you.
