Can anyone offer any insights into this bike vs. their others (less those with their own screens) - the X3 and X5. Outside of the position on the fly wheel (Is up front vs. under the seat offer any advantage?) and what looks like weight holders/seat/handle bars is anyone aware of any performance differences? Thanks for your input. Appreciate the post - was just looking at these at Dick's Sporting Goods yesterday.

How are others getting the Peloton app on a TV? I have iOS and a Roku.
Peleton now has an app in Amazon Prime Video. Works on a smart tv or if you have a fire stick...

Anyone have this and know what the weight limit is? Walmart.com shows 500lb but I find that hard to believe, also I can't find this model on echelon's site to compare.

Can a heavier set guy use this machine?
If you are up to 300, will be fine.

Am I missing something here- this is just the bike- you still need a tablet or device for the app and then something that would measure your ride (i.e. calories burned, watts, distance, etc), is this correct?

You definitely need a tablet or phone. Unclear if you need sensors or are built in...

Hey all sorry I guess I feel like I've seen some conflicting info on here so trying to fully understand. My wife and I have Android phones and an Android set too box with peloton digital.

I'm order to see the cadence info would I need to still buy a wahoo cadence sensor or will it work natively? And if native would it need to connect to Bluetooth to work? (Meaning either the Bluetooth in my phone or maybe even a Bluetooth dongle on my Android box)?

Looking forward to getting something nicer than our existing upright bike. Thanks all

Also in terms of the SPD shoes. Never used them before but do they make a big difference? Seems it based on everyone talking about them.

For those with the bike which ones do you suggest getting? Probably one with SPD one side and cage other in black would be best id think. Maybe direct from Echelon?

Lastly what about matching shoes, any general recommends? Thanks again

spd or spd-sl. but you are fine with toe cages for now if you never clipped in. try with cages for now, and if you are into, get clips. remmber, its new pedals AND shoes AND cleats. so its a bit of an investment.

I searched the thread and thought it was posted, but I can't find the weight of this Echelon flywheel. What is it? 29 pounds?
