Have not seen a thread yet for WalMart clearance prices on grills. I have been watching grill prices for a few weeks now and have seen a few. These are just gas grills or combos.
YMMV on all of these. I scored the second one listed today so check the WalMart app for prices by you.

If you get 3 years out of your $200 grill, it's $67/yr, so that $1000 Weber needs to last 15 years to meet that same "value."
And let's face it, the guys buying the $200 grills aren't the kind of guys that are going to take care of it. It's going to sit outside on the deck or patio year round. It'll be lucky if they spring for a $10-15 cover that will rip in less than a year.
An E-210 is just shy of $400 for 2 burners with 26k BTU and 360 sq inches of primary cooking area.
For $200 they can get 5 burners with 62k BTU and 475 sq in.
For $170 they can get the Cuisinart with 5 burners with 48k BTU and 500 sq in. Plus a side burner with 12k BTU. And it has a 15 year burner warranty (for whatever that's worth!)
I'm all for buying quality and paying a premium for it, but I'm not going to knock some guy because he doesn't have $1000 to drop on a grill.
Second choice is the air fryer model from Walmart but don't want to pay 600. It went out of stock in j7ne. Popped back in August and now out again.
Are these made in China and all are shut down? Anyone know or have any idea how I can contact 5hem to find out when models will return?

The air fryer model was on clearance in Forest Park Illinois about two weeks ago for $299. I saw it in the store but I already have a griddle. Check brickseek in your area.
some of the old char-broils were literally pot metal, rather than sheets of steel, but almost none of the grills use that thick pot-metal cyclinder design any more.
They all use fairly similar components. The quality of the metal on the weber might be better, but it is still just sheet metal. They aren't making the thiings out of adamantium. They also may be a slightly thicker piece of sheet metal, but they are still sheet metal.
I do agree that webers cook better. They tend to put more thought into the design, but they are using the same types of burners, heat shields, etc. You have a plastic knob that connects to a valve, which then slides into a burner. These are all standard components.
If weber is better, and that is a big if, I would say it is because the quality of their metal is a bit better and their designers do a tiny bit more product testing. But don't expect anything like the difference between a Frigidaire range and a Viking downdraft. The delta is much smaller. Maybe you get 3x longer life out of a weber, but it costs 3x more.
Napoleon especially the Prestige series.
Summerset TRL is really nice and you are stepping up into a really nice grill.
Blaze are decent but the Summerset with ceramic briquettes does a better job with even heat and flare ups.

They had probably 7 other brands and styles (grill, pellet, smokers, etc) all 60-75% off.

No problem. I just got power back last night. I thought that might be the one as I was at the one on Danforth yesterday and they were discounted but not that much. Glad you got your electricity back!
