Anyone know if the PSU is standard ATX and how good or bad the temps would be?

With RAM prices dropping, why do they insist on building an otherwise good machine with a paltry 8GB? Just put in 16GB RAM and sell it for $700. JFC.

Agreed. Other notable issues with this price and these specs:

The Dell proprietary ATX connector means that even if you could upgrade the PSU to one that can actually handle a graphics card (based on form factor, it doesn't look like you can), you'll need an adapter just to get it running.

Only comes with a 512GB SSD that is unlikely to even be NVME.

To turn this thing into a gaming computer, you'll probably have to spend another $600 minimum.

Not $600 but like around $300 maybe. Also you can always buy some used parts like a gpu.

No one should expect to buy an off the shelf Dell Inspiron and have a gaming PC. FWIW though I believe there is still a third party making adapters to use aftermarket PSUs with the oddball Dell ones. I know we had used this at my work in the past.

Unlikely to 'even' be nvme? As if nvme is some low end thing that any respectable pc should be using?

dell...inspiron. probably should lower your expectations a little

It should be nvme per Dell and the ~10 varioius dell's I've bought this year.

New i5 and i7's are not as good as what they used to be. I guess they really want to push people to Ryzen.

probably 100 dollars overpriced..nothing special just a processor.

This got like 8 USB ports lol

Dvd drive which most people don't really use much

But I want to leave PC gaming, too much hassle, and just stick to ps4/5.

On CPUbenchark site the i7 scores almost twice as fast as the i3-10320.
