congrats buddy this is a beautiful TV trust me. People in here are comparing it to other TV's playing their own demos. Go to Costco and see it side by side to the Q8 playing the same content and you will see that the 90CH looks better. The biggest mistake people make is that they go by specs all the time and you can't do that. Its like the Cowboys on paper they look great on the field ..... not so much.... one of those TVs was the Vizio PQ. The Sony 90CH or 900H however you want to call it is a great tv for the price and picture and color quality.
Vizio PX-G1 does not have HDMI 2.1 if you want to future proof your TV with for new console or PC graphic cards you should opt for Sony. The TV comes with the HDMI 2.1 hardware that will be turned on in "future" via firmware update.
Costco will only do a price adjustment within 30 days. If you want to wait till BF just wait. If you are going to buy it and returned it then don't, all you are doing is abusing the policy. The store loses money that way and hours get cut for employees.

Really confused between getting this (75" for $1970) vs Vizio P series Quantum X (PX75-G1) 75" @ $1499 from Costco. The Vizio comes with a 3 yr warranty as well. Not sure whether paying $500 more for the Sony makes sense or not. Any thoughts?

I've been eyeing this for a little while... was hoping for a price target for 85" below $2400.
90-day return policy gets us through Thanksgiving, in case there's a better deal by then....
Pull the trigger or wait?

This, or wait until black friday/holiday season? Will this be OOS versus reduced price or is there a better TV that will be similar price?
Wondering the same.
They will refund you the diff if the price drops thru thanksgiving?
Or do you have to return it? I don't want to have to deal with a return of such a large item.
Also, it says delivery to room of choice, does this include if the room us upstairs?
What happens if it wont fit up the stairs or requires unboxing to fit up the stairs?

Same questions I had, but I pulled the trigger. This price is more than $1K below the original MSRP on the 85" ($3,499) when it came out in June. I don't see it dropping a ton more, but who knows.
The 90 day return window and 30-day price match is what pushed me over the top to go ahead and order.

Is there risk of it going OOS? what's the typical cycle where they'd stop making this model?

How much better is this than the other 85" Sony that went on sale last month at Costco?

I guess the biggest difference is local dimming -
