Kobalt's 24-volt brushless motor provides 3.6 times more run time and longer motor life as compared to a brushed motor - the run time is approximately 50 minutes when using the included Kobalt 24-volt 4.0Ah battery. -slickdewmaster

Yes, great deal. I already own a 450CFM Milwaukee M18 FUEL equivalent but it costs $250-300 after you add charger and 5.0Ah battery. This is 1/3 the price and almost same power. 410 vs 450CFM. Milwaukee is 2 speeds only. Turtle or Hare (I am not joking, that's literally the choices). The Kobalt has trigger sensitive speed, which in my opinion is a nifty feature.

Most of the time I do not need the high speed mode because it will destroy weaker plants if you get too close, but it's great for wet piles of leaves.

P.S. if you're wondering what do I do with this, that's what I thought until I bought one. Yard cleaning is so much easier. Also, if you have skates you can use it as a rocket launcher...

P.P.S. just received it and compared to my Milwaukee M18 FUEL. Kobalt is a lot quieter. High mode on Kobalt feels only slightly better than turtle mode on M18, but in reality both have no problem moving big piles of debris quickly. The M18 is just a lot, lot stronger CFM on high speed mode for those of you who need to send small children flying. Still, the Kobalt works great and has excellent fit and finish, and seems to have a "wider" field of blowing while the M18 feels more focused stream. Battery has life indicator just like my M18 RedLithium batteries. Blower is roughly same size, just a bit wider on body. One feature Kobalt has is a "speed lock" lever. It's quite ingenious. You rock and lock to a certain speed without even pulling trigger. I like it.
Different model. That video one is only 110CFM. The one I posted is 410CFM. The ones in those videos are only strong enough to clear dust off your desk, lol.

This is the right one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovTFxwbtOBo
CFM is cubic feet per minute. MPH is miles per hour. The milwaukee is 120 MPH and 450 CFM. The Kobalt is 100 MPH and 410 CFM.

Nobody said the Kobalt is 410 MPH.

If you're not in a hurry for it, you can get this paired in with the weedeater for $129.00. Comes with 4.0 Amp hr battery and charger as well. I'd echo the senitment of the first person who responded to you. The variable speed trigger is really nice as you can adjust the output. If you feel like you need more power, there are aftermarket air diverters you can get on eBay that will concentrate the airflow and help get more stubborn debris flowing.

Edit - to clarify, the 2 tool set with this and the weedeater is normally $199.00 (though it seems usually to be at $169.00), but has been on sale regularly. Just watch for the sale if having the weedeater is of interest to you.
