Picked one of these up at my local store today, on the shelf marked at $44.97, no indication of it being a clearance or sale price. Both HD online and Brickseek are showing $66.67, so YMMV.
Thanks for the post OP. Which HD location did you pick this up at? It's strange how some items are clearanced but don't show as clearanced on BrickSeek.

$45 is a nice price for a high quality electrician's tote. And this one has the bonus of being able to snap parts organizers to the bottom of it. (It'll also snap to the top of packout tool boxes.)
This style of bag isn't just for electricians. Being able to store tools vertically allows you to cram a lot more of them in a small space and have them readily accessible without the need to rummage around in the bottom of a traditional bag.
Unless I'm bringing power tools with me, this is one of my favorite styles of tool bags. With the added functionality of snapping parts organizers to it, I'm going to have a hard time not buying yet another tool bag. Thanks for the temptation OP!
Edit: I noticed the small parts organizer is currently on sale at Northern Tool for $20 ($15 if you have a snail mailed $5 off $15 coupon): https://www.northerntool.com/shop..._200726553

Yep, I threw all my "around the house project" tools in it when I got home and it looks like it will work great for a few screwdrivers, pliers, cutter/strippers, wrench, utility knife, tape measure and still have room to stick an impact driver or drill in the center with a couple batteries. I picked up a couple of those organizers at Blain's (also $20 right now) for wire nuts / staples / etc and various fasteners, should be nice to have one thing to pick up from the workshop and carry where it needs to go.
For those of us that actually use and transport our tools a lot, the quality and functionality of a tool bag makes a huge difference.
The Milwaukee is much better built than the Husky so it will last forever and it has many more features, such as tons of individual pockets for better organization, a single central handle, a couple zippered pockets, AND the ability to snap to other Milwaukee Packout accessories such as the small parts organizer.
I'd take one Milwaukee over two of your Huskys any day...

"Your Husky's?" Lol. It's not "MINE". If this was a forum for "pros", then the $45-$67 Milwaukee bag would be appropriate. This isn't a forum for "pros". Home Depot's $23 Husky bag (with 4.8 out of 5 stars with 191 reviews) would be perfectly adequate for MOST of the slickdeals readers who just need a decent organizer for their tools/supplies. Lol.
Btw, let's not "generalize". All manufacturers make good items and bad items, including Milwaukee (which is the brand name on ALL my battery operated tools). What's your experience with the Husky bag I linked to, hmm?

It works with team reds modular pack out system, that'd be my guess on why it commands such a high price.
Couldn't really tell you how that all works together or if it'd be worth it though.
