"Bad Times at the El Royale" was freaking great.

Understated thriller, developed characters, and tight storytelling.

Yeah, I had no desire to see it and had never heard of it but the video store guy told us it was terrific!
It really was. Sooo glad we watched it.

Some great movies but damn if I don't wish 4k would come down in price already. I just stopped buying movies now because it seems pointless.

Agreed! 4K Blu-ray deals are far too rare. I can't wait for Criterion to transition to 4K as well!

Really like Old Man & the Gun. It definitely had that classic cinema feel. Not saying it's a classic but it was one of my top 10 easily the year it came out.

I hated it. It seemed to keep hinting at some big payoff that it was building up to, but there wasn't much to keep me interested, and I kept wishing it would get to the good stuff. It's never a good sign when you're glad the movie is over.

It will, its pricing is similar to Blu Ray when it was a new format. I just can't believe DVDs are still so prominent in big box stores, more so than Blu Rays or UHD discs.
