But it is hard to get too excited about the deal when the filters plus the C535 itself were $99.99 last year.

Has anyone tried vacuuming and/or using compressed air to blow clean the HEPA filters? My C535 is getting a workout with the CA wildfires.

Why spend $100, when for $30 less you can get what you actually need?
Sorry about the situation in your area - I hope it passes soon. As far as cleaning HEPA filters go, it rarely works; they are too easy to damage.
