It's 4 years since receiving the sign up bonus.
You have to wait 4 years since opening the first one before you can get another.
The application date or the card open date doesn't matter. What matters is the date that you received the sign-up bonus. That date is probably the closing date of the statement in which it was awarded to you.

For example, if you met the minimum spend for the sign up bonus in the first month the card was opened, the statement closing date was probably October or November 2016. If you met the minimum spend in the 3rd month that the card was opened, then the bonus may have been awarded in January or even February - again, depends on the statement closing date. You can check your first few statements in that account to know for sure.

I opened my account 10/6. Hit the $4000 on 10/13 and on my account it says I will get my points with my first statement on 10/26. So from the looks of it you will get it with the next statement after you hit the $4K.

Any idea until when this offer is going to last?

With pandemic, not spending much these days. But expecting to spend a lot in the first few months of next year.

Can spouses combine points from independent chase cards? One has premium and the other not.
Household members (same address) can combine as long as they're Ultimate Reward points.

No it does not.

5/24 refers to opened cards. You can be rejected for five in a row and still be under 5/24.

So if you got a sign up bonus from CSR, does that make you ineligible for this? Or is it only if you had CSP sign up bonus before?

So here is my dilemma...i still have my CSR but really not down to pay the $550 this upcoming year (annual fee due 1/1/21) since im thinking of getting the CSP card instead. Would it be best for me to downgrade to the Chase Flex by November 2020 (when this 80k expires) and then apply for the CSP card if i had received my csr 100k points on 1/2016 statement? Thanks in advance!

There is no way you got the csr 100k bonus points in January of 2016! CSR wasn't even available at that time!LMAO

I think he/she meant January of 2017. I Ann pretty sure you can downgrade the CSR to Freedom Flex anytime now. Then wait till January, 2021 to apply for the CSP. Only possible problem is that the 80k offer might be gone.

Denied here too, couple weeks back. In my case, due to Chapter 7, filed nearly 10 years ago. They appear to be extremely picky about any mention of bankruptcy, regardless of how much time has passed. I even called Recon line, and same result. Funny that I've been approved by 5 other banks for tens of thousands in credit over last 3 years, but Chase says no. I'm going to wait it out a few months and try again, but one more denial, and I'll just move along. Chase has good sign up bonus, but there are plenty of other big players in the market.

If I earned the CSR 100K on November 15, 2016, will I earn the CSP 80K Bonus if my new CSP statement closes in December 2020?
OR, No because November 15 falls after the 11/7/2020 CSP application deadline?

I got that message when applying online. Then two days later I was approved without doing a thing.
