I hope walmart does not cancel my order since I ordered more than one, even though it is technically 2 different versions

Thanks! Got one. With the way some things have still been so hard to find around here, I don't want to take a chance on not being able to find this at Christmas time.

Agreed! And the fact that it's being released on my actual birthday is even crazier! Nintendo was just 25 years too late! LOL!

If you were 12, you wouldnt be surprised. There were already lots of toys and robots that use this same technology for the past ten years. It isnt anything new. The only people who are surprised are out-of-touch adults.
You heard it folks. Straight from a 12 year old...

Something I'm unclear on, can you pay multi-player locally with a single switch? I wouldn't need/want multiple remote control cars.

We love Mario kart and would love to not have to buy 3 more switches just to play together.

Per Nintendo website, each needs a switch. Also up to 3 players, not 4

It's one switch per car. So unfortunately no

Bleh, that's frustrating and disappointing.

I was thinking the other players would essentially be like the npc when you're playing single player. With the single car making the map.

I wonder if they're going to have actual pre-made courses like in previous versions or if it's only live in house ones.

That makes sense. I wasn't wanting everyone to have a car. I was thinking the other players could be virtual. Either on a custom house course made by the single car or a pre-made course.
